he hadn’t thought that the company would actually do something like this. mostly because they’d never done it before. it’s not like it’s unheard of, but he thinks it’s perhaps the first time nova’s done something like this in a while, which makes it all the more exciting. when the staff had told informed him that he’d have his own solo birthday fan-meeting, he’d been ecstatic, felt as though it was unreal.
the year before, he’d spent his birthday alone without his family and most of his friends, having to take part in the supernova survival show, not that it was something he regretted but still, this felt as though it would make up for the year before. he could spend his birthday with his fans, and those that he loved.
and naturally, he’s ecstatic, ready to share the good news with just about anyone. it’s then when he spots ricky as he walks through the hallway and his eyes brighten up as he walks over to the older boy. “hyung!” he calls out, practically bouncing over. “hyung guess what!” he says, but he doesn’t let ricky guess, instead speaking quickly, “the company just told me! that they’d have a birthday fanmeeting for me! isn’t that great!” he beams, smiling.
