2. You meet a man who has killed someone and done time for it before. Does this factor into how you treat him? Will he ever truly escape that sin?
It absolutely sets the bar on how Leo treats them. As somebody who works within the justice system, he knows firsthand who goes to jail for killing somebody. He will never escape that sin, never escape the blood on his hands, but who is he to judge when Leo himself has killed people and has never done time for it?
4. You have a secret you swore not to reveal. But this secret is the only thing that would prove your innocence in a separate matter. Is it worth risking your own well-being for the secret? Or would you betray the trust given to you?
Assuming that the secret is nothing criminal, Leo would risk his own well-being to protect the secret. Not a lot of people confide in Leo willingly-- his talents lie in obtaining the truth, however necessary-- so to have somebody who’s willing to tell them his secret is very special to him.
If the secret is criminal, however, Leo would have to risk the weight of the secret and the person who told it to him versus his own well-being. Does it put the other person in danger? Would it make things worse for him or for them? These are all things he has to consider.
6. If you tell the truth, an evil person gets to walk away free. If you lie, you may be able to send them away like they deserve. Is honesty worth more than justice?
How does Leo know they’re evil? Are they just misunderstood, or do they have a truly lethal plan? Honesty is sometimes worth more than justice, but if he has knowledge of criminal intent, you can bet your buttons that Leo would lie to put them away.
8. If you could gain as much money as you want for losing a sense, would you do it?
No. Does this really need an explanation?
10. If a lot of people, possibly innocent people, have to die in order to make a real change, is it worth it? Can you live with their deaths even if it helps people in the present?
Yes, it’s worth it. Leo’s very work can involve the death of people in order to obtain the truth. He has done it, and he lives with it (although not very well).
