22. when was the last time someone told you they loved you
That would be when noona woke up in the middle of the night and... well, we had some deep talk and she told me that she loves me. I like hearing that... I should ask her to say it again.
23. who is your best friend and how did you meet
My best friend is Park Areum, the tiny ray of sunshine -- she’s been my friend for years now... ever since middle school, I believe? No, no-- before that-- our moms are friends, I recall; we attended some sort of annoying event and our moms insisted that we played together as we were one of the only children there, I think we were about eight or nine years old... something like that and I do recall being really fond of the way she played with me. She wasn’t a typical girl playing barbies or whatever, we ran together after a ball and our moms scolded us for dirtying our formal clothes but I remember that both of us looked at one another and laughed. We met here and there, asking our moms to drop us by the playground or mall to meet and when we found out we both were going to attend the same middle school... Ah~ my heart almost bursted out of my chest -- we would meet between classes and make fun of teachers we disliked, did some group projects together and I remember that I used to go to Areum’s house a lot and we did homework together, then played all kinds of games. When she came over, we’d play video games and it was like I had a guy friend to shoot zombies with -- but she was also really good as a friend, because she’s a girl and she’s more sensitive, understanding. I remember that growing together was fun, because not only that we are the same age and we go through the same mishaps together, she was and still is the only person who understands me and loves me despite my idiocy. So yeah... that’s how we met, at first... my best friend and I.
25. do you get sick often
Unfortunately, I do. It’s really frustrating that I have to keep away from sick people even if they’re my friends and all I want is to be able to comfort them and nurse them back to health, and that every change of weather has me getting a cold, the least.
26. do you live alone or with other people
I live with my fiance in Hongdae. I don’t think I’ll be able to live by myself yet, not finanacally wise or like... I can’t cook, I’ll live on instant noodles for years until I’ll find a wife if I wasn’t with noona, so this is fun... it’s like I’ve been used to my whole life, with just the responsibility of paying the bills and doing chores and all...
27. when was the last time you saw your family
I believe it was a month ago... I dropped noona in my parent’s house because she had some errands with my mom and I said a brief ‘hi’ to my parents before going to work... so yeah, that was it. I should call them and check up on them soon but I’m ... too busy to engage into a long conversation of how am I doing and am I eating well and all that...
28. what do you want to achieve in the next year
Woah, that’s... there isn’t much time left until the next year would arrive so I suppose I’ve got to think about some goals right now. Well, I guess... that’d be getting a promotion, having more opportunities to enhance my studies and knowledge, marrying noona, perhaps?
29. do you believe in true love
Ever since I fell for Areum noona, I do.
30. have you ever been hurt by someone you thought cared about you
Of course. I think it happens to every one; getting hurt by people we care and we thought cared about us -- whether it’s intentional of them to hurt us or not, every person experiences sucha feeling at least once in their lives, I believe. It sucks, I know, but I think experiences like these can teach you a lot about people and how to behave around others and who to trust.
