guess I’m slowly expanding the space au that Idra’s in to include Titus as a highly dangerous criminal with a large bounty on their head. not really all that different from their gem version except y’know. not a gem. Tamara was their partner at one point but switched to the right side of the space law after Titus threw her under the bus. so now she’s hunting them down with righteous fury.

Tamara wouldn’t have me though. she’s attracted to power and intrigue, of which I have none. that’s why she takes to Titus like a moth to flame in the canons they share together --he’s got both qualities in abundance, and then some. they’re bad for each other though... it’s a dysfunctional and co-dependent cat vs cat dynamic. whether or not they stick together depends on the canon, but overall Tamara has a better moral compass than Titus does and is a better person without his influence. that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have her bad traits, as her sadism is rather notable, but she keeps it in check better... and is far less likely to do serious harm to others if she hasn’t been provoked.

I get chills whenever I think about Tamara for too long because of how attractive and cool she is... especially when it comes to her magical canons (like witch au or hp au). dark enchantresses really get me going 6 /// < /// 6;;

I’ve been thinking a lot today about an HP au with my characters (and secretly other people’s but I didn’t want to assume a lot of things, so yeah just… mostly my ocs)

Aggy – Hufflepuff, best subject is Herbology but excels in Potions as well. keeps potted plants around her bed in the dormitory and is forgetful when it comes to remembering the password to the common room. comes from a modest family, with a witch for a mother and a squib for a father. has a pet cat/kneazle hybrid named Adelaide.

Hammer – Hufflepuff, best subject is Transfiguration. metamorphmagus. doesn’t have any particular plans when it comes to the future, but would like to travel and see the world. has a lot of friends across houses, often seen flitting from group to group.

Isri – Ravenclaw, best subject is Charms. is interested in muggle culture (particularly theater and fashion) and admires their non-magical accomplishments. rather savvy when it comes to the muggle world in general and is a little sad he doesn’t have many people to talk about it with. half-veela and half-human.

Jay – Ravenclaw, best subject is Care of Magical Creatures. seems to be on good terms with his copy of The Monster Book of Monsters. very intense about his desire to learn more about magical creatures and often gets in trouble for trying to make trips to the Forbidden Forest. plans to become a Magizoologist once done with school.

Tamara – Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, Slytherin while in school. ran with a powerful warlock in her younger years and burned bridges and made bad decisions while doing so. she eventually separated from them and turned a new leaf. aims to give her students a realistic depiction of the dangers of dark magic, as well as provide them with the tools they need to protect themselves. strict but fair as a teacher, pushes her students hard and gives credit when it is due.

Torsten – Divination professor, Slytherin while in school. very knowledgeable but their personality is difficult to deal with. commonly strays from the set curriculum and skips their own classes for matters they consider more important. docks points indiscriminately for petty reasons. has an office full of cats and most are unsure of why they have not been fired.

that’s all I’ve got at the moment. probably will post more whenever headcanons come to me.

gonna think out some stuff about my witch au that I have but don’t talk about or do anything with so here I go under a readmore

shifting it more towards more of a magic school dealio than just witches being friends... it’d be a small school though, nowhere near Hogwarts scale. Tamara would be the founder and head teacher. she’s a dark sorceress but she is a huge mama bear and she loves her students. her main reason for starting a school is to protect younger witches from using dark magic irresponsibly and ending up in a bad situation... like she had earlier in her life.

Adli, Anju, Nana, Mi Sun, Aggy, and Tempest (an oc I thought of using for SH way way back but never submitted) are the students... cos this is me running on my own steam. I’ve been wanting to find a canon for Tatum so maybe she’ll float on in there too. there’s probably a couple other teachers but Idk who to slot into those roles yet. the Ward Twins will probably pop up... may be Tamara’s familiars rather than her actual children in this setting.

I’ll keep slow thinking it out.
