“ Do you think what he was saying is true? ” Question was asked in a hushed tone as they watched the former soldier who had disrupted the party be led away. It was him, from the train car — she knew that she’d recognised him, as had Yumiko, but now she was beginning to wonder if she’d had any part in him losing his job.

“ That they DON’T really care about us, I mean. ” While Princess knew that Yumiko’s job was certainly more highly regarded than hers was, than many peoples’, but she also TRUSTED Yumiko’s judgement. I’m the short time that they had known each other, she’d learned that the other woman was both smart and capable.

It’s been a few weeks since they had first arrived at the commonwealth, and it had definitely been a challenge getting settled in here — and past all the difficulties they encountered to begin with. But now things seemed to be settling down, they’d been assigned jobs and housing, and despite the fact that it was a big change of environment, Princess honestly felt the happiest that she’d been in a long time. No longer living alone, wondering when, if ever, she might see another LIVING human. She had friends, people who for some reason had grown to trust her. She felt like she was FINALLY part of something.

Shift at the store had just been finished, door locked and closed sign showing, and face lit up when she turned and caught sight of Ezekiel just across the way. One of the first people to ACCEPT her, it part of the initial little group she’d joined, and boy did she love his positive attitude too. “ Yo! Ezekiel! ” She called to get his attention as she hurried across the street towards him, wide smile gracing lips. “ Feels like forever! ” It hadn’t been, she was exaggerating, but still, she couldn’t help but be ENTHUSIASTIC over running into him. “ How are things going for you? How are you holding up? ”

;; okay not sure if unpopular opinion or not but i dont especially ship stiles / lydia romantically but i DO love them as sassy bff's. like. lydia being there for stiles while scott is caught up with allison and lydia being disgusted with his fashion sense and lydia buying him new clothes and stiles making lydia feel loved no matter what her shit parents think and lydia making sure stiles knows he's not nothing like how he feels sometimes and her giving him relationship advice and stiles being one of her only real friends besides allison and them having movie nights where they eat ice cream and whine about relationships because one of them just got dumped / dumped someone else and break ups are hard and stiles trying to braid her hair but she just has so much hair and the two of them studying together but giving up halfway through to go to the mall because they're both too smart to really need to study anyways and liKE. stydia as bestest friends is my weakness.
