Another botched transformation. Another moment with Dark having to take control of Daisuke's feeble little teenage body. In the middle of school, no less! This was beyond annoying.

His adorable companion wasn't here, so no calling in an imposter Daisuke to cover for him. He just had to hope that no one noticed how Daisuke was different today. Which would have been fine, had he not run into--

"Hiwa-- Hiwatari-kun!" He forced himself to acknowledge the nerd as jovially as possible. But DAMN if he didn't want to punch that cheeky bastard right in his stupid fucking Hikari nose.

The Host had been trying to write. No, his writing wasn't nearly as neat as the Author's, but he was teaching himself and was definitely better than the chicken scratch he'd started off with. He inclined his head a bit when he heard someone outside, standing to move. "Hello? Could you come read my writing for me and tell me if it's good? I've been practicing." The Host lightly shook his head when he felt an eyelid twitch under his blindfold.

“Why are you wasting your time with that?” His voice was low, ringing through the library just as his aura did. Dark stepped into the space and looked upon the Host, a soft huff exiting his lips. “There is no need for you to write anymore. A ‘host’ speaks. He does not write.” His footsteps led him to stand right in front of the Host, where he placed one hand on his shoulder and the other upon the table.

He picked up one of the papers and acknowledged it for a mere moment before crumpling the sheet in his very hand. The intensity of his aura increased.

“It’s garbage.”

The whole meeting had felt like some April Fool’s joke. Dark certainly had not liked that. He had stared as Wilford blabbered on about some stupid, random idea, had stared harder as Google interjected with his damned attitude. They weren’t getting anything done. He was ready to rip his hair out by the end of it, where the egos began to bicker. His fingers tapped the table impatiently, until he finally stood and declared the meeting to be over.

No one was exactly sad to leave, except Wilford as usual. Dark waved them all out, but he grabbed Google’s arm before the android could do anything. “I’d like to speak to you...” He looked Google up and down, displeased. “...if you would not mind.” His grip tightened, and it should have been obvious that it didn’t matter whether or not the other minded.

He sighed through his teeth, stepping closer to Google. “What was that?” The question hung in the air for only one moment. “You only have one job at these meetings, Google. Your purpose is to sit, record, and shut up.” Dark already seemed very angry. It wouldn’t take much effort to turn him to his usual abusive methods.
