Going to his parents house with his boyfriend were something Kyle would have to do it at some point, he didn't lived with them anymore, but every once in a while Kyle would go to the Maxwells mansion to spend the day with his sister, Maddie was 18 now, and Kyle was pretty close to her. As they were driving to the location, the silence in the car were getting even Kyle a little bit nervous for Colin, so he tried to just ask straight to the point and break the silence. " — You're nervous, aren't you?" He sighed. " — I can see the way your eyes look lost in the middle of a storm." He grinned. " — It's going to be ok, look at you, you're too handsome for anyone to say anything!"

Sydney should’ve kept to herself. It’s what she’d been doing until Halloween when she decided to attempt to be normal for once. But normal was gone and all she got was regret and remorse and a slap in the face with reality. That she was something else entirely, even if there was a part of her that wished to fight that truth. But being around people...it felt less lonely, even if she stayed on the outside, removed but somewhat present. And she thought this was alright, lingering on a bench outside a busy bar, just like a few smokers were another bench or two down, nothing out of the ordinary until he walked out and she felt herself freeze as he seemed to cast his gaze in her direction. “You’re alive...” words breathed mostly for herself because she’d bolted before seeing the end result, uncertain of what would happen to the man who’d done nothing more than bump into them...who’d done nothing to deserve what had happened. Almost immediately the blonde was standing, eyes almost obviously scanning for an escape route as he beelined toward her.
