Maid to Love (Valentine’s Special)

On Valentine’s Day, Fynn plans to swing by at Eimie’s job around closing time for a very special dinner arranged by her manager in the special room.
Valentine Day - the time of event where couples and the ones they care about give flowers and chocolates. This has been a tradition since ancient times before humanity was no more. This after, Fynn recieved a text from his girlfriend; Eimie earlier in the afternoon with Lexi and Gale at their usual hangout spot.
Upon examination, Fynn read Eimie’s text while Lexi and Gale were sitting right in front of him.
[Hey, Fynny. Please swing by my job around closing time. I have something special to server you, my master~] Eimie replied with a heart next to her text.
(“To think she would be in character in a text.”) He replied back, leaving a slight blush on his face. He could imagine spending his Valentine’s Day with the person he loves dearly. In a maid costume.
Fynn looks up at the two. “I better get going. Eimie’s job will be closing up in a couple of hours. The maid cafe gets super busy during Valentine’s Day.” Not only just couples, just individuals who don’t have a special someone ofter show up there.
“Are you planning on taking her out to dinner once she’s done working as maid, Fynn?” Lexi asked him. She’s still new to these kind of events in Inkopolis.
“Something like that. Can’t tell y'all the details, though. It’s a secret.” Fynn winked at her to know he was playing around. “So, what about you and Gale? You two have been real close in over a year.”
“Well.. Lexi insisted she could cook at our place instead of going out to eat.. I didn’t know she could cook, at first..” Gale spoke up, looking at Lexi. He still has high expectations of her skills outside of battle.
“How rude! Battling isn’t my only hobby, y'know! I cook from time to time!” She cutely pouts at Gale. “I’ll have you know, Galie.. My mother taught me everything about cooking since I was young. So, I know a few meals back home.”
Gale gave her a light smile and rested his arm around her shoulder. “I see.. Well, I wouldn’t mind trying one of your dishes..” He looks at Fynn. “Fynn.. You should get going.. You don’t wanna be late.”
Lexi started blushing when he got very close to her and nods at Gale. “Looks like we’re taking off as well.. It’s getting late, anyway. Give Eimie my regards for me, ‘kay?” She smiles at Fynn. Looks like both couples are gonna enjoy their evening.
“Will do, Lex. I’ll be sure to tell her.” He waved good-bye to Lexi and Gale as they continued planning for their dinner. It’s only a matter of time to get groomed up for tonight.
As night approaches, Fynn has arrived at his destination. The name of the cafe is called: “Sweet Noire Cafe”. He’s been coming here just to pick up Eimie from a long day of taking orders. As long as it pays well, his girlfriend didn’t complain as much.
As he walked in, he was immediately greeted with Eimie’s supervisor - Carolyn. He first met her on the first day of Eimie’s job. The cheeful woman smiled at as she was about to leave.
“Ah, Fynn-sweetie! You’re here for Eimie, yes?” She asked with a grin so bright, it’ll leave him blind. “She’s been waiting you in the private room~! I put her in charge to lock up the cafe for now! Enjoy yourselves~!” Carolyn waved her good-byes to Fynn.
“Heh.. That lady sure is something else.” Since it’s just Fynn and Eimie, it’ll be okay to stay with her until it’s time to go.
Inside the cafe, it was all stacked up with chairs and cleaned tables. The lights were dimly lit and the only area that is reserved is the private room. Eimie must be in there, waiting for him. (“Could Carolyn prepared this dinner for just the two of us..?”) Fynn wondered.
He approached the door to the private room. He felt a bit of anticipation of what to come next. He grabbed the knob and twisted it, causing the door.
As he opened the door, he was greeted by his girlfriend, Eimie. She’s appears to be in her maid uniform. Behind her was a prepared dinner for just the two of them.
“W-Welcome home, Master..” Eimie greeted him with a bow. This was in fact the signiture greeting whenever a customer enters the cafe. Fynn could see her light blush all too well. “I have dinner for the two of us. My boss allowed me to stay a little longer until I’m ready to close up, eh.” On the table, there are two plates of rice omelette and some tea. It’s nicely decorated with ketchup by making a few hearts with their names on them. “Shall we eat, Fynny? You must be starving on your way here, yeah?”
It was true, he didn’t have much time to snack on after he got cleaned up. The smell from the fried rice smells pretty delicious under the omelette. “Yeah, let’s enjoy ourselves without a care in the world.” He sat down with her and started having a nice dinner together.
The conversation became lively for 5 minutes. They had just finished their dinner shortly after. Fynn brought a napkin to his lips to wipe off the remains of rice. “It’s been a while since I had a rice omelette this delish.” He seems delighted.
“That’s because, I actually made it myself! Surprised, right?” Eimie may work as a maid, but she can aid the other chefs from time to time. “This is the first time, I made this.. One of the chefs taught me how to make a rice omelette. So, what you think..?” She started fiddling with her wavy tentacle, awaiting for his answer.
“Either it’s home or work, you’re a natural at cooking. Of course, I love it!” He smiles in response. “Thanks for the meal, hun.” He leans in for a quick peck on the cheek.
Relieved, Eimie lets out a soft giggle when he kissed her on the cheek. “L-Let’s just say, I made it with a loooot of love!” Eimie made a cute heart sign with both her hands. It was indeed super cute. Before she could put away the dishes, she nearly forgot to give him something important. “Oh! There’s one special gift to give before we head home!” Eimie reached out her hand and pulled out a neatly decorated box. Inside the box is some valentine’s day chocolate. Just for him.
“I also made some chocolate.. just for you, Fynny.. Not to mention, it’s also my first time making chocolate by myself. So, I’m sure it’ll taste good. I hope..” She handed him her homemade chocolates.
“There’s a first time for everything, hun. There’s no need to worry whether it’s good or not. How about we share the box once we get home.” Fynn gladly accepted the chocolate.
“That’s a relief.. I just wanted it to be special on Valentine’s Day and stuff..” She started to lean on his shoulder. “You’ve always been by my side and supported me.. Even though you went missing back then, I still think about you. I wanted to say.. thanks for everything.. I love you..” Eimie met his gaze as he did the same. She was the first inch in closer for a passionate kiss. “Mmm..” She hummed as her lips pressed against his.
Fynn closed his eyes and returned the kiss. He proceeds to wrap his arm around her waist to pull her close. They both shared a tender moment together until he broke the kiss. He stared into her eyes and smiled. “I love you, too.. Maybe next month on White Day, I’ll do something special for you in return.” He placed a hand on Eimie’s cheek.
Eimie nodded, happily. “I’m looking forward to it, Fynny!” She checked the time and realized she still has to close up shop. “Shall we get doing? I have to clean some dishes and then lock the door. And after that..” Eimie’s blush deepened. Things are starting to get intimate. “Maybe we could have some chocolate and fool around some more.. I am in my maid uniform, after all.. Right, Master..?” She was already in character for him.
Fynn blushed as well. He definitely knows where this is going. “T-Then, I guess I’ll help with the dishes as soon as possible..”
After that, Fynn helped with washing while Eimie puts the dish until it was time to close up shop for now. Fynn won’t forget that special moment. Who knows what their future together holds in store. Fynn could still smell the sweet aroma of her homemade chocolates.
