Babysitting Chaos

Ahra couldn't lie, while she liked children, this seemed a lot more intimidating now than when she'd decided to try. How would she best handle the children? What if her way of dealing with them was in some way wrong, or they'd be super confused because they were used to something different?

Well, at least she wasn't alone, perhaps together they'd do a good job. Really, at this point, she wasn't even conscious of the cameras anymore, as she'd been while filming basically anything up until now.

“How... are you with children?” she asked her partner in crime, wondering if this would go well, or if they'd be under the mercy of the kids and whatever chaos they might create.

Dear self:

STOP feeling guilty for saying no when a family asks you to babysit!!! You work 45 hours a week and the only two nights that are off limits are your D&D nights and there is NOTHING wrong with that!!!

  When her parents went out for the day, Kiseki was left in the care of Shizuo. It had taken some coaxing on Masaomi’s part, but Izaya eventually agreed as well, seeing that he was actually rather good with children. They had been spending a lot of time with her, and not enough with just the two of them. Kiseki was always sad to see her parents go away, but Shizuo was fun to be around.

  After greeting Shizuo and saying goodbye to her parents, the young girl clasped her hands behind her back and smiled gently. There was mischief in her maroon eyes, mirroring her father’s constant smirk, but she didn’t have anything devious planned for the two of them that day—for now, at least.

     “Uncle Shizuo, do you like my new dress? Papa bought it for me when we went shopping yesterday. And also this necklace! He said they aren’t real diamonds, but he’ll buy those for me when I get older.”
