“Lifestyle” is one way to put it, I guess. I also don’t want to, if that gives you any satisfaction.

Kenny walked with confidence, stepping in time to the beat of the music playing in his ears. It was an upbeat song with sad lyrics, something relatable to those stray remnants of teenage angst and trauma in his now twenty four year old heart. His vision was unfocused, mind distracted to the point he didn’t even notice the man in front of him, whom he promptly ran into. He caught himself on his back leg, but the other seemed to be falling, so without even a thought his arm darted to grab him. He got the other’s wrist and pulled him up, eyes wide. His earbuds fell from his ears, only a faint buzz coming from them. He hesitated before giving an irritated whine. “Hey, watch where you’re going, okay? Now are you okay?”
Kenny was in town for only a week, he’d planned, for work until it was time to move to the next town. It was his way of self funding a trip around the country, and getting to see the sites. It was fun, and walking around the city itself was even interesting. Every place seemed to similar, yet so different... And meeting the different people was so awesome!!! He was fairly optimistic about his journey, and even an unpleasant run in or two wouldn’t diminish the light of his bright blue eyes.

Kyle just busted in here and said he’s going to give me to Kenny. I’ve never been more scared for my fucking life, honestly
Mysterion and Chaos: Behind the Scenes. 7.28.22
With the nasty business of Eric faking his parents death and making Butters clean up the blood when in reality they were on a trip to Hawaii, he was thankful that he was getting to relax. His parents had let him out on account of the fact it was summer, and the house had been so clean they couldn’t complain when he asked to go out. The blond had instantly seized the opportunity, not wanting to get it revoked and had invited Kenny to come with him to their local comics shop. It was… it was what he expected for their small town. Still, the manager was awfully nice and even if the selection wasn’t that great, there was always something new to read every few weeks. He couldn’t really ask for me. Butters technically supposed he could, but that was rude!
In his pale hands, his fingers wrapped in colorful bandages, was a Batman comic. It featured Spoiler, something he was excited about. While he did like the villains, there was always a joy seeing her get up to antics. He flipped the page, and he saw something that made him frown. It was a smiling, pale face. Gross, it was the Joker! He stared at the bloodied purple suit. He would never allow Professor Chaos to get that dirty, or if he did, he would promptly take care of it. But this stupid clown didn’t seem to care about appearances and looking sharp, it made him close the comic, but he kept his thumb inside the issue as he walked over to Kenny.
It was so easy hanging out with Kenny. He didn’t have to worry for his own safety like when he hung out with Eric, didn’t have to listen to any self righteous speeches from Kyle, or pretend he gave a darn about whatever cause of the week Stan had taken up. He loved them all, but they weren’t as fun as Kenny. He looked up at Kenny, a look of amusement in his eyes but his face in an annoyed pout.
“Will ya get a load of this guy? He steals money all the time surely he can get some soap or pay for a laundromat.” He flipped open the issue, showing the Joker. “There ain’t even an ounce of concern.” His eyes glittered briefly, and his tone turned a bit sly. “I bet Professor Chaos wouldn’t be seen like this.”

Kenny had always liked the outdoors, whether it was in the city or the country, just finding some comfort in the cool breeze and wide expanses that unveiled themselves in front of his bike. He’d traveled with his sister a while, before she settled down to have a job and he continued without her, preferring to explore just a bit more before he’d have to head to college. She was understanding, but in exchange he had to tell her about everywhere he went. It was a nice exchange, him telling her stories and her keeping him up to date with the local news.
He traveled from town to town, coast to coast, just for fun. He’d stay in a town perhaps a day before moving on, but he liked it that way. It gave him more ground coverage, and time to explore. It was in one such town, having gone to a local landmark by bus and then gone back towards his hotel, that he ran into a sleeping man, looking about his age, just dozing off in a public spot. He walked over cautiously, first checking for breathing before shaking him gently.
“Hello? Hey, you fell asleep. You okay? You got a place to stay?” He spoke softly, blue eyes wide in curiosity, wind gently ruffling his short blond hair. “You need any help, my guy?”
