AU: Bounty hunter verse for Nolan and Molly and an AU where Sím and her are friendly baking rivals? Maybe?
They used to be rivals, of a sort. Rather than get violent with one another, however, they decided it was best to work together than fight.
Nolan is the more experienced of the two, while Molly has the guts and unfounded sense of invincibility of someone far less experienced.
Nolan forces Molly to participate in drills fairly often to keep her alert and aware and better matched for his own movements. Nothing worse than accidentally shooting your partner because she got in the way.
Their diet as they hunt consists of mainly junk food and bad diner cheeseburgers, and Molly usually tries to finish Nolan’s fries before he’s done.
She HATES his taste in music, and actively refuses to share the same car with him–mainly because of her claustrophobia, but also because she HATES HIS MUSIC.
Molly is actually a big fan of Sim’s work. She likely learned of one of his techniques and its made her baking exponentially easier.
They meet at a seminar or at a small baking competition and get to talking backstage. The conversation actually starts because she accidentally spills her coffee down his front.
They teach one another different tricks outside of the competition, bonding over fondant and flour. More of the ingredients end up on them than in the actual food.
Molly falls in love with his son, taken by the boy’s charm. It’s easy to become integrated in their lives, and soon spends a majority of her time with the father and son, bonding with them and bringing them treats.
Eventually, they team up for the annual competition they first competed against one another in, and win.
