[So I was curious and started digging around, and popular theory among those in Egypt is that Ramses’ birthday was either February 22 or October 22, though this changes from article to article. In one it says that his birthday is Feb 22 and his coronation day is Oct 22, and in another, the reverse is true. I’m probably going to go with his birthday being in February since on this day, the temple lights up due to the sun’s position in the sky and everything is illuminated. None of these are proven to be an actual date by Egyptologists, however, it is something that is popular in Egypt itself since his “birthday” is celebrated by a few who go to his temple during this time.]
