I entered earlier to idv and saw that to my predictions, they actually did commit to nerfing down painter-- I won't be talking about the other things they implemented regarding his skills because I can understand why they put them (like the circle area and the animation of putting down the painting and yada yada) BUT I will be talking about the biggest issue in my opinion which is----- they took his 3rd painting. From having 3 paintings he now has 2, AND LISTEN-- I wouldn't be salty if every character or at least the kiters had all 2 items, then I can understand, BUT!! NETEASE HELLO?? perfumer has 3 perfumes?? Norton and patty have endless curses/magnets?? AND OH BOI DON'T GET ME STARTED WITH MAGICIAN--- he has it even worse than painter because not only does he have two (2) wands, but he can even get terror shocked by using his ability like what?? BUT ASIDE THAT, I want an explanation over why perfumer can get 3 perfumes and Edgar can't get 3 paintings. BECAUSE OK, you can come to me and say "ooh but painter can use his paintings for kiting AND rescuing! So it's not fair he gets 3!!" BUT SO CAN PERFUMER USE HER PERFUME FOR KITING AND RESCUING?? the same applies to the rescuers, listen I love naib but why does he get 4 elbow pads or why priestess gets endless portals when Andrew gets only 2 shovels, and first officer 2 pocket watches? I just don't understand why some survivors get less things and others get much more?and then you have netease saying that on tournaments people keep using the same survivors over and over, AND IDK maybe because ur biased over your fav picks?? And when a new survivor comes in with the possibility of becoming a good useful survivor you nerf them?? Now Edgar won't be unplayable, but I predict that he will end up fitting into the box of 'forgotten unused survivors' where melly, wilding and other survivors have fallen into. With these meta survivors, it makes sense people won't want to use them on rank or competitive games if there are other survivors that have much more to bring into the table.

But again this is just my opinion and ur free to disagree with it or point out ur own point of view.

     I mean. . . honestly, out of all the rpcs I’ve been in, I really feel that the least open and accepting one is this one. Once again this is from the perspective of somebody who rps villainous muses and does touch on darker subjects. I’ve had more problems than any other fandom. It feels like people are lacking something when it comes to communicating about things. In the past with other fandoms when I make a mistake without knowing it, somebody helps me. In this fandom I get told about it either in a nasty way or figure it out through vague stuff or other means and then feel like shit. And well, I’ve been blocked by multiple people which doesn’t help me feel accepted into the fandom--but that’s for their comfort and I won’t ridicule them for it.      I still love all the rps I’ve gotten here and the people I’ve met though--even if it’s only a select few that I’ve really bonded with it’s still worth continuing on this blog

so one of my pet peeves is someone deleting text on art that the artist included. don’t care what your fucking reason is, it’s rude and disrespectful to the artist. period.

you know what irritates the hell out of me even more?

when it’s an accompanying fic I wrote for the artist as part of a collaboration that was deleted off the post and the asshole who deleted it REBLOGGED IT FROM ME

2. What are your unpopular opinion(s) of the fandom you’re rping in?

1. not enough OC’s. need more. many more.

more oc’s that wanna be big. wanna know canon characters already or have big grandiose plans to either be heroes or villains. motivations and characters that aren’t afraid of change for bad or worse.

Duplicates of blogs do matter. I mean, plenty can exist, but when it comes to brass tax I can really only interact seriously/canonically* with One and stick with them, as I wave to the others kindly.

Say I rp with a Lucatiel with her helping my muse all through the dlc or something, and they have life-changing moments together. 

And then another Lucatiel comes around later. No big deal, I hope they have fun, but what am i supposed to do if they want to interact with me? carry over all those things that the OTHER Lucatiel writer created and claim this other Lucatiel did it to? that’s not fair to lucatiel #1. and I sure as hell don’t just want to ignore the threads/start fresh because I enjoyed the change it brought to my character.

So thus; stuck.

edit: i suppose the things that CAN be carried over are things that I made for my character myself, so it’s not unfair to writers? i.e. I made my character with a pre-existing connection to Lucatiel, that could be carried over to any ‘tiel without fear of insult to another writer.
