headcanon that steve and bucky's first kiss was under the guise of kissing practice???? like i dunno maybe they're 16/17 and wanna get good 'for the ladies ofc'

I have a headcanon where that since they had been best friends since they were babies kids, steve had been the more serious one and the one who needed to remind bucky to settle down (although steve’s the more punk one, lbr) but Buck’s the first to physically grow up all big and tall (though he’s 2 years older than steve anyway) and the first to get past the ‘eww girls have cooties!’ stage to get a dose of ‘oh wow, i like that other person in a really weird way and what the hell do I do with this feeling??’ while steve has other things in mind (like trying not to die from all of his ailments) and one day buck just kinda pulls steve up close and plants one on him because they’ve been friends forever and he didn’t think steve’d mind. and then later he realizes that no matter how much he likes other people, he always liked steve more.

collects rocks - Bucky. He finds rocks with interesting striations fascinating.takes pictures of the other while they’re asleep - Steve. Bucky tends to be the one falling asleep in odd places and in awkward positions. gets drunk and breaks shit - Neither gets drunk, (sadly), but that doesn’t stop either of them from breaking shit when they’re in the mood.can’t swim - Again, neither. Unless unconscious but then the other will go and fish him out. They’re like lobsters holding claws~remembers to feed the fish - They wouldn’t have fish. If they had pets, it’d be a large dog(s) or maybe an over-friendly cat. Bucky likes routine and feeding the pets puts him (and the pets) on said routine so probably him more than Steve. puts up Christmas decorations in November - Neither. Bucky wouldn’t really know what to do with himself when it comes to Christmas decorations and Steve knows better than to put’em up before Thanksgiving!sends inappropriate texts and SnapChats while the other is in a meeting - Bucky. Especially when he has a day off while Steve’s working. He’d just send all the messages, half just to mess with Steve bc he’s a lil shit.makes Sims just to drown them in the pool - Bucky. Not on purpose but he gets stuck with a bunch of drowned Sims and don’t know how to fix it. And then panics and kinda not touch the game again because drowning is bad. ..and breaking the gaming system it’s on is bad too.brings the other coffee at work - Bucky. He has more ‘free time’ than Steve does… (wait, what does Steve and Buck do now that SHIELD’s no longer a thing??) so he’ll just visit him with coffee or bring him lunch for the heck of it and to watch him blush in front of his coworkerstakes gym locker room selfies - Nopesigns them up for tennis lessons and a salsa-making class - Steve. Bucky would rather figure those out himself or with Steve while Steve’s more into ‘if we’re doing this, let’s do it right (aka get someone more professional to learn from)forgets to charge the other’s iPad and leaves it dead on the coffee table - Bucky. He still grumbles about how it’s hard to use it with one hand but he’ll unconsciously play games on it for hours and drain the battery anyway. And then forgets to charge it.
