I’m going to do a series of these featuring the main characters as they were before the story’s beginning, interacting with the universe in various ways.
Universal Theory | Yoona + Soojung
imyouva
Pale legs were tangled between a mess of cool temperatures sheets and the pair that seemed to match them just right when it came to sleeping in the same bed. One leg was plunged deep into the slate grey sheets while the other was thrown across the hip of a slightly taller young woman. A small smile was rested on pale pink lips as they planted light kisses along the shoulder blade of the person who could only be described as her universe.
Both women had dark hair, and the strands splashed across the white pillows like squid ink, mixing together without actually tangling. Soojung's heart swelled with love and pride for the woman she had her arms currently wrapped around the waist of. No blocks of ice were formed in her stomach, no anxiety over the words chosen, and absolutely no sweat formed on her palms do to the fear of somehow messing up. Everything Soojung had with this was was one hundred percent easy. She didn't have to worry about anything it seemed, except making sure she told the other just how she felt.
Pale light peeked through the curtains, reminding Soojung that it was night. Not that it mattered, she had very little actually going on and sleep hadn't been her thing for more than six years. The twenty year old was more than content to was Yoona resting. Nothing was more comfortable to her than being around the girl she thought of as nothing less than a goddess.
She perfectly encompassed the universe and everything it should be, Soojung was very firm about her opinion on that. Yoona wasn't just loving, she was always growing. Expanding and branching into new things and developing new thoughts and aspects of who she was, even as she slept. She was comfortable, and yet at the same time a complete enigma. There were things Soojung could see, below the surface. But much like the ocean, which could be compared to space, there was only so deep you could go before things became murky and unknown. And Soojung? She loved learning, and she loved Yoona. So if she could learn every little thing about the lovely person that was Im Yoona, she would.
Even if it was impossible, that was fine by her. She was far more than contented where she was. Leaning in, she couldn't help but mouth a few words into the warm shoulderblade her lips had made their temporary home on, 'I love you.'
