Check in Post  What assignment questions do you have that I can answer to help complete the assignment:   I do not have many questions to ask about assignments however I wanted to know more about the module reflection. What is the difference between the module reflection and the reflection of notes/chapter questions. I was wondering if they are the same or completely different. Also I could totally do this research on my own but for this discussion post I figured I would ask on here!  @npfannen

What is your research question? how can I help you revise it further?

How do the three accounts use conversational tone and multimedia elements (hashtags, images, links) to drive user engagement in their posts, and how does the discourse drive the postings themselves?

This is my current research question, but I worry that I'm being either too broad or too specific. Should I worry about the discourser affecting the content, or that too complicated for this particular project?

My hypothesis is that research related postings, especially ones that show the misuse of AI, will be the largest volume of the postings, as well as that these will receive the most discourse. I'm worried that I might be twisting the question too much to fit the content I am analyzing.

What did you find most helpful when learning how to web write? I think that my brain is so wired to TikTok creators and how their content is, that I can’t figure out how to actually WRITE. I understand captions and titles helps even with video content. However, I just think my brain is so fried from doomscrolling that I cannot get myself to think creatively.

Attached is a photo of a couple that I found while thrifting. It broke my heart someone threw them away, so I now have them on my fridge to give them new life! I named them Patsy Jane and Roger.

My question is as I’m working and going through D2L…Is there a specific page or pages that show all assignments due on its correct dates? I go through and see what all the assignments include and sometimes it’s hard to look and see where on assignment is because the other assignments are on the next page. So it’s a lot of going back and forth which is fine, I didn’t know if there was an easier way at all, or maybe it’s just me lol @npfannen

QUESTIONS I HAVE FOR WEB WRITING

The number one question I have about Web Writing is that, how do we stop A.I from infesting every corner of online writing writing. Every time I go on Twitter or read any kind of news related article, I can always tell from the get go that a non human being wrote it. At some point in the future, Web Writing will just be multiple A.Is talking to each other and no one will be able to distinguish whats real and what isn't. Another problem that goes with this is that every company is now aggressively pushing A.I chat bots to increase short term profits.

I am getting all the assignments mixed up with what is required for each. I'm going to summarize what I think is correct.

Reflection #1:

Something we will continue to do every few weeks. Basically reviewing the past 2 weeks of work, answering the questions and uploading our posts+schedule. Also including chapter 1 & 2 notes/chapter questions.

Module 2 Reflection Letter:

Just answer the questions provided in the overview.

What is Content Assignment:

Multiple steps. Define your writing process/answer bullet points. Define key concepts and expand on the topics using images and writing. Change you writing process using the reading concepts and answer the bullet points.

Is that correct? Am I missing any major components?

Since deciding to pursue a career as a writer I have been really eager to learn how to write for all sorts of mediums. Since I’m not on social media or creating content this is one that I had not thought about learning but am really happy to be in this class. Most writers and authors have social media as a way to connect with fans and other people of the community and I guess I’m ready to learn how to manage an account while putting out thoughtful and creative posts that still represent who I am as a writer.
