Wild African elephants appear to use special, name-like calls for individual family members. Researchers used computer analysis to find clues about which elephant each call was meant for. When they played recorded calls in the wild, elephants reacted more strongly and responded faster to calls originally directed at them. It is not proof of human-style names, but it suggests elephants may have their own way of calling someone specific.

If Sasuke was a girl it would be a deeply problematic patriarchal ship with a lot of tangled mess here and there don't even make me start on it but trust nobody wants it.

Also the whole thing that if a certain character is a woman it would be more woke or less patriarchal is so wronggggg there's a lot of patriarchal women out there and very fine with hurting themselves and each other and compete for petty reasons

But ironically enough in a male violent world where war culture and its institutions regulate male behaviour and their behaviour towards themselves and others and how they are perceived to a degree that a whole clan got wiped out is very bloody cruel and patriarchal .... These effects allude to the characters especially Naruto and Sasuke that fighting a great fight with great powers and dying is an acceptable honoured way for an ending or crashing and brutalising the other to their death which is reinforced by society and their war institutions (government) that suits their ninja world and I can't stress how depressing this worldview is ..... Then for these characters instead of dying to their misery they just talk (after their fight first lol) yes talk about burdens and pain and wanting to shoulder the other's heavy commitments which is very much anti- patriarchy (no I don't think KISHI wrote it on purpose lol) but the sentiment is still there and especially for their world-building it's not only a sentiment of friendship and brotherhood (it's actually not an easy sentiment to uphold in their world in the first place) but also LOVE and not any kind of love it's the one that's about forgiveness and commitment that's almost like a prayer.

it's very revolutionary to uphold this kind of sentiment in their world setting.

THEY ARE ALREADY THE GREATEST LOVE STORY IN SHONEN AND IT'S GAY.
