the more time passes the more episodes that air the more certain i become that the scene (the scene where they air some of their feelings out, not the one where they get together, just where it’s established, outside of a third-party that there is something) is going to be eddie putting on his big brown (but terrified) cow eyes and going “are you in love with me?” (and he’s not even ready to face what that might mean for him just yet) and buck just spluttering and going “i—i mean, i—no, no, okay, i—you’re straight, eddie, i—i know that, okay, i—“ and eddie going “that’s not what i asked you.”

which is not a confirmation of him being straight (which, again, i’m not even sure eddie would be facing yet, himself) but buck will of course take it as that and it’s going to be phenomenal.
