" well, i'm telling you that right now i'm focused on the grammys, and there's no such thing as a 'last minute harness' at the next stop unless someone wants to get decapitated by a support beam, " trinity speaks plainly into the phone, the only sign of annoyance the hand pinching her nose that goes up to say 'one second' to the person in front of her. " and if you're too scared to say it to the talent's face, i'll do it. " she hangs up, then to the talent in her face: " if you're going to ask me where yemi is, i don't know. "
open starter ! the only thing better than being on stage at glastonbury, birdie had decided, was being in the crowd at glastonbury. she's at least two beers and she's not sure how many open-bar cocktails from VIP, with another one balanced in her hand as she sings and dances her heart out to the band on stage. a real band, is what birdie would ordinarily think, lamenting moodily that they were making the music they want and playing the instruments they've been playing their whole lives. luckily, drinks and nerves and the music coursing through her was enough to stave off the thrum of negativity that always beat against her skull. it also strips her of enough self awareness she doesn't realize she's spilled her drink all down the front of the person next to her until it's too late. " oh my god, " she moans, already imagining how this will surely earn her their ire forever. " i totally did not mean to give you a baptism by bahama mama. i'm so sorry. " @supernovainfo
open starter for josephine howlett ft. anyone , located at lunar cove beach just after nightfall. ( @lunarcovestarters )
the sand was cool beneath josephine’s bare feet, damp from the tide that had long since rolled back, leaving the shoreline glistening under the moonlight. she stood still at lunar cove’s edge, arms loosely folded, her gaze fixed on the lighthouse in the distance. its beam cutting slow, steady arcs through the dark like it was searching for something it could never quite find.
she tilted her head slightly, watching the light pass over the water again, and again, and again. “you ever get the feeling,” she murmured, more to the ocean than anyone else, “that it’s not warning ships away… it’s trying to call something else here?” her lips pressed into a faint, almost knowing smile, though her eyes didn’t leave the lighthouse.

location: four leaf pub.

"If you're not busy or waitin' on anybody, my table is right over there. You're more than welcome to join. Honestly, I wish you would. My friends are all scattered 'round here somewhere and I could really use the company."
@eritvita asked "Do you need a drink?"
A smile warms Robin's face. He gives a nod of thanks and welcome to the generous stranger. "Thank you, friend. I am always in need of a drink."
