Ideal bday gifts for the segments !! (posting this because today is my birthday!! 8/8) ( ˶˘ ³˘) ༄┌ííí┐

Segment 8

Please get the boy some sweets. That plus a handmade aranara plushie would be good, I think. And perhaps you could get him a live one…Maybe I’m infantilizing him a bit given his circumstances, but I think he would still like to indulge in something befitting of his age every now and again. Sure, he probably has some embarrassment attached to just being a kid, likely straying away from certain things for fear of it being “too childish” (meaf). But he doesn’t always have to be a Dottore segment, sometimes he can be an eight year old too. But I think another thing he’d like is if you just listen (and even try to approve) some of his experiments and theories.

Segment 18

I feel like he could go for something astronomy related, idk why. However, I think he would also enjoy some sort of spare parts or mechanical equipment that could be useful to him. Oh, and definitely consider making a robotic contraption yourself that aids him in his work somehow. I think he’d also find it enjoyable if you smuggled some bad thesis papers from the Akademiya just so the two of you could laugh at how ridiculous their arguments are.

Segment 25

I think that 25 would be more inclined to appreciate a non-physical gift such as you helping him with more time consuming or laborious tasks around the lab. However, that doesn’t mean that he would be averse to receiving something from you. Maybe he would like something like a medically accurate movie to keep him occupied when he’s waiting for a patient to wake up from anesthesia.

Segment 35 / Omega

I think compared to the other segments he’d be the most eager to accept something from you. Not because he’s suddenly all affectionate, but just because he likes getting stuff from other people. All of the segments appreciate it, don’t get me wrong, but they have their various reasons for being more surprised and reclusive about it. I think Omega could really go for some flashy accessories that he could flaunt the next time he makes a public appearance. Come on, his outfit is ten times more flashy than any other segment, he likes to stand out.

Segment 45 / Prime

Prime seems like the type to be more verbal about his appreciation for a gift. All of his younger counterparts might mumble a “thank you” if you’re lucky, but I’d say he’s more obvious about it. Since he can feasibly get most of the things he’d be interested in, I think he’d just enjoy a quiet outing with you. Nothing crazy or extravagant, but maybe visiting a museum, or a fancy dinner of some sort.

Segment 65

Hear me out, cute library date thing. Like you take 65 to a nice library, and just let him wander around for a bit, picking up books he might be interested in before putting them back silently. However, everything that piqued his curiosity, you would wordlessly put into a basket before buying everything up front for him. Oh, and maybe some Sumerian coffee beans.

Zandik

By the time he’s this age, I feel like he would swear up and down that his own birthday is something irrelevant compared to everything else going on in his life. But a homemade Sumerian meal from you should do the trick. Something that reminds him of home while he rests in the cold wasteland of Snezhnaya. Oh, and don’t forget about mementos, photo albums, and anything sentimental really. I feel like by this point he doesn’t care as much as acting like The Second Harbinger, but rather as Zandik, someone human.

Oh god where do I even start. I think that he might like something rare, expensive even. Something outlandish should do the trick, if I had to guess. Maybe a scale from the hydro-dragon themself would appease him lol. In all seriousness, I think that something of value as well as some attention and quality time should do the trick. I don’t think that the segments give him the time of day, so just hanging around with him would mean more than he’d like to admit.
