There is someone in the dt17 fandom who's been impersonating creators across several platforms as a way to harass and dox innocent people. They use asks, comments, and dms to send fabricated stories and lies about fandom members with zero evidence, seemingly as an attempt to falsely deplatform people they don't like. This is not something I enjoy but it has to be said. Between 3/4 and 4/13 I received eighteen comments on ao3 from this person often only a few days apart. They have stalked me to the point of tracking down my real identity, they used my illness against me, my husband against me, my friend's death against me and accused me of things that have gone far beyond the point of acceptable behavior. Anyone who has known me long enough knows this shit isn't true, but no one deserves this. I do not like this. I do not want attention. I just want to enjoy my fandom in peace. I know others have suffered in silence, many for reasons far more sensitive than mine, but if you have dealt with something like this know you're not alone. We're here, so if you trust us and just want to be heard don't hesitate to reach out. And if anyone has any information that might help us identify this person please let us know.

I can't stop this psychotic stalker from saying horrible things about me, but if nothing else the whole fandom needs to see the type of person that's calling US disgusting, so please signal boost if you can.

I'm sorry your return to fandom activity had become such a horror show. I could mostly try to put aside what they've tried to pull against me, but the doxing and their attacks on you are especially disgusting. This is the most aggressive I've seen them be (but they did manage to drive several people from the fandom and break up friend groups). I don't want them to keep getting away with this, but they're banking on our silence. You've been nothing but kind, and I enjoy seeing a vertan fan becoming active again. Despite everything, there's still a lot of good people in this fandom. I really hope we can get justice.

I don't usually post about art that isn't my own, but I really want to recommend shell's Beaksloose Baby AU fics on ao3. They're surprisingly grounded stories about the struggles that come with starting a family, and every new fic expands upon Mark and Gyro's experience a little more.

The whole series is very sweet and very underrated. Please show them some love :))

the funniest thing to remember about anon hate is that not only is the person pissed off enough to go to your blog and type all their pissed off thoughts out in your inbox but. anon is something you have to click on manually. so they had to type it all out and MANUALLY CLICK ON the anon button to make sure they were anonymous before sending hate. like you CANNOT expect to be taken seriously when you had to physically Click The Coward Button before sending
