"Solar moves out?!"
Solar, no! I get why you're doing it but no! Jack! Look at my boy! Jack! No!
The episode starts off all calm and nice with the kid characters/kid-like characters play Red light, Green light. And we got a little too much or a close up to do Dazzle's face. Like jeez! (<-That scene was funny.)
Then Solar steps out of his room and Jack notices his dad has his toolbox packed. They ask why and Solar tells them that he's leaving. (<-WHAT?!)
He says he's not leaving the universe but he is leaving that house cause when the Overseer sics another bounty hunter on Solar, he doesn't want any of them to get caught in the crosshairs.
Moon tries to talk Solar out of it but his mind is made up. Jack tries to leave with his dad but Solar stops him saying this isn't Jack's fight and he doesn't want Jack to get hurt or have to kill anyone. Jack says he doesn't mind the killing but Solar says Jack shouldn't have to. Jack deserves a chance to be a kid and not have the guilt of murder on his conscience. (<- Solar probably thought about how he had to murder his own Moon and Monty from his old universe when he said that)
Jack VERY reluctantly agrees to stay behind. He hugs his dad goodbye (Probably fearing this may be the last time he'll ever get to hug him) and then Solar leaves.
Sun goes to comfort Jack and Jack asks Sun if he ever thinks about Nexus how he felt when he killed him. Sun says that he still misses Nexus, that the pain is still there but it's just numb now. Sun takes Jack up to Dazzle's room to play to hopefully cheer up Jack.
Solar breaks into some random people's house that they barely use and starts checking to make sure there's no one there and while he's exploring he finds Nebula. (<- Nebby! : D)
Solar asks what she's doing here and she says she came to help him. Solar brings up the Astral laws that won't allow Nebula to help but she says she doesn't care about those laws or what the other Astrals to do her. She's done too much for them, she's helped them, delivered their messages and done so much and sacrificed so much for them that if one little act of rebellion gets her killed? So be it.
She says she'd give up everything for Solar then asks if that was a little too passionate? (<- AW! No, Nebula, it wasn't too passionate. Astrals, I swear to Cetus if you kill Nebby I want you all to get wiped out by the Overseer or Dark Sun!)
Nebula helps Solar check around the house and they both get jumpscared by Molten who is creepily hiding in the basement. (He's just standing there in the pitch black darkness with just his one eye showing. That looked awesome and creepy as sh÷t)
Molten walks out of the darkness and says he's here to help Solar and Nebula take on the Overseer. (This wasn't the team I was expecting but I love it! I think this is also Molten's first time meeting Nebula? 🤔)
Solar, Nebula, and Molten try to work out the sleeping arrangements and Molten says Nebula and Solar could just sleep in the same bed but they both sputter and say they aren't there in their relationship yet.
Nebula says she's found "Our room" by mistake then immediately sputters and corrects to "my room." (<- I love Nebula and Solar so much.)
The episode ends with Moon calling Solar and the two talk for a moment before Solar ends the call and immediately gets to work.
(Real talk: This whole episode made me love Startools so much more! Ride or die, baby! I'm sucker for the troop of one or both characters risking it all for the other cause they love them)
"Mars fixes Andromeda's halo!"
Mars, you are a good boy. Please don't turn evil.
The episode starts with Earth searching for her brother cause she wants to bond with him since they've only really hung out twice and barely know anything about each other.
Earth checks the security room and finds Chico talking with Mars discussing something tech related. She asks what's up and we learn that Mars has been working on Andi's halo since he got here.
Mars couldn't remove the A.R.K. code from Andi's halo but he installed a firewall so now the code won't force Andromeda to aid A.R.K. or Day and Night. He did this cause one, he wants to help and two, he wants to smooth things over with Andromeda and Roxas cause they don't really trust him all that much. It's not his fault but with all the chaos of A.R.K. and Day and Night they don't really trust new people.
They go to give Andi the halo but before they do Chico pulls Earth aside and asks her if Mars knows about their relationship? Earth says she's kind of hinted at it and she's sure Mars knows by now but if he doesn't she'll tell him soon.
Earth, Mars, and Chico head to Roxas' room and give Andi back her halo. She is so happy to get her halo back and her tune immediately changes around Mars.
They all chat for a bit and Earth gets an idea to bond with all of them, a cooking competition.
They all agree to make a dish but Mars says he can't really cook so Earth makes him and judge.
(We also learn Roxas is so bad a cook that he burnt water... HOW THE [BEEP] DO YOU BURN WATER, ROXAS?!?!)
Before the episode ends Earth tells Mars about her and Chico's relationship and obviously, Mars supports them but he does the classic protective brother act and tells Chico that if he hurts Earth, he will break his legs. (<- Good brother Mars.)
Chico let's out a nervous "Okay." And then the episode ends there.
I'm really loving Mars as a character. He's only been around a few days but I feel like he's gonna be a great addition to the show.
And last episode of the day...
"Eclipse befriends Freddi"
I love how Clipper is laughing while Freddi strangles Helpi.
The episode starts with Clipper walking around the plex and he bumps into Freddi. Last episode (which I didn't review) Freddi started to give Clipper a chance after she had a talk with Saturn and realized that Saturn was right, Sun and Moon are technically here and that Clipper is made of the best parts of them and if she continues to push him away, she'll lose both Sun and Moon. Freddi is trying to befriend Clipper (while still secretly trying to get rid of Saturn) Clipper and Freddi chat for a small bit, just talking about random things till Helpi shows up.
Helpi is rightfully shocked to see Freddi and Clipper hanging out and starts bringing up all these mean things Freddi has said about Clipper and Saturn in the past... and a few days ago.
Freddi tries to get Helpi to shut up and Clipper admits while he's still mad at Freddi, she seems to be wanting to make a change and he's willing to let her try.
Helpi basically blackmails Freddi into letting him pitch some ideas to her and Fazbear. Helpi actually has some pretty good ideas to make more money. He accidentally says something funny that causes Freddi to laugh and she agrees to pitch the ideas to Fazbear if Helpi can make her a prototype.
Helpi runs off and Clipper mentions how he hasn't heard Freddi laugh in a long time and that it was nice to hear it again.
Freddi and Clipper have a small moment of bonding... only for Freddi to immediately ruin it.
You see, Clipper says he wishes he could let Saturn out of the daycare since she's been cooped up in the daycare since Freddi hired all this new security. Freddi says she may have found a way to disable the cameras temporarily and she could just order the bots to follow her somewhere else. She says she has this big security event coming up and that Clipper could let Saturn then.
Clipper agrees not realizing that 'big security event' is Freddi getting the CEO of Fazbear (Who we learn is a woman in this universe. Maybe it's Elizabeth Afton?) To come to the daycare and see Saturn and then probably the US government to take Saturn away.
Clipper thanks Freddi and before he leaves he notices Freddi seems off. She says she needs to do something hard but that it will benefit everyone in the end... (Freddi, if you want to lose everyone you know and love you will not do this.)
Clipper says he's sure Freddi will make the right choice (No, she won't) and then leaves.
The episode ends with Freddi standing alone in the Faz-café just thinking to herself.
I hope Freddi realizes that if she does this, she will lose Clipper, Chica, Foxy, and Helpi as friends. I get why Freddi is doing this but Saturn isn't a threat. She's a friend. She's Clipper's wife. She's Chica and Foxy's friend! If Freddi does this... there's no going back. Clipper will probably go ape-sh÷t to save his wife and then leave the planet with her. Freddi will get her wish, she'll be rid of Saturn and Clipper.
Freddi, count your days.
11/10! Nebula and Solar are going rogue together! And Clipper and Saturn will too!
In 2025 I posted 119,176 words on AO3 adding up to a total of 39 works. I managed to not only finish my first-ever multi-chaptered fic, but then proceeded to post three additional long-form fics throughout the year! Really felt like I was coming into my own as a writer this year.
Also started participating in some events and had a blast with the 2025 Steddie Big Bang, Switch Eddie Week 2025, and the Stranger Things Mermay Week. Can't wait to participate in a few more over the next few months!
