POSTING INSTRUCTIONS

This event accepts art, fanfiction, GIFs, edits, moodboards... whatever you're inspired to make!

Posting begins on 1st October 2025.

You can do as many prompts as you are comfortable with. Combining prompts is allowed.

No minimum or maximum word count for fanfiction.

Your work can be posted to any platform you choose, but we would heavily encourage using AO3 where appropriate.

If posting to AO3, remember to add your works to our collection (which will be opened at the end of September).

We will comment a 💜 emoji under works posted/cross-posted to Tumblr to let you know it's been added to the queue. Works on Bluesky will be reposted as and when we see them.

Remember to use hashtag #STKinktober25 and tag us on Tumblr and Bluesky!

Late submissions are allowed—we will leave the AO3 collection open until the end of 2025.

Who can participate in this event?

Anyone 18+. Minors following the accounts will be soft-blocked.

What kind of content can I post?

Anything goes! We're not here to restrict creativity. Interpret the prompts however you see fit.

Please use appropriate ratings and warnings/tags, particularly for commonly triggering content such as underage sex, sexual assault, incest, graphic violence, character death, etc.

AI-generated works are banned and will result in a block.

What ships can I post about?

This is an anti-censorship event, therefore any pairing is allowed, including polyships and genderbent characters. We also allow crossovers from other media, original characters, and 'x reader.'

What if I see something I dislike shared here?

As we are not excluding any kind of ship or content from the event regardless of our personal interests, it means not everything will be everyone's cup of tea.

Curate your space by utilising the block button, blacklisting, tag filtering on AO3, and scrolling past things you don't enjoy. Harassment of event participants will result in a block.

In 2025 I posted 119,176 words on AO3 adding up to a total of 39 works. I managed to not only finish my first-ever multi-chaptered fic, but then proceeded to post three additional long-form fics throughout the year! Really felt like I was coming into my own as a writer this year.

WIP WEEKEND 12/12

I was tagged this week by @shelleyminx and @mission2mordor, thank you beloveds! It's been a bit since I've been in a space to actively participate, so I'm looking forward to it this weekend!

🐉- There's A Dragon In My Closet - AU after S4, magical realism AU. Dustin turns himself into a dragon. Eddie and Steve have to figure it out.

🤸‍♂️- Yeet Aerobics - Otherwise coming to be known as the fic where Jess takes Steve, Eddie, Chrissy, Robin, and all sorts of minor characters, tosses them into Starcourt during S3, and is going to see what happens. Steddissy, Robin/Heather Holloway, Carol Perkins/Ronnie Ecker, other pairings TBD. Will involve canon elements from S3, maybe S4 and beyond.

I have quite the backlog for a few projects, so I'm not going to put them in active rotation, but I will be clearing out some asks for: 🏰Attic Shenanigans, ⚔️A Knight's Tale AU, 🛼Operation: Hot Racks, and ⚾Second Chance At First Love (and Third Base).

Steve and Tommy haven't talked in nearly three years. After everything, maybe the best way forward is back.

"Which one's your favourite?" "Huh?" "Your favourite. Which one?" Steve asks again, slower this time. Makes Tommy feel slow, too, as he reaches over for a well worn tape near the top of the box. Steve gives him a smile that's sly enough to make Tommy feel like an idiot for saying it. For giving up something damning and getting shit-all in return, just Steve grabbing a fistful of his sleeve and pulling him toward the door. "Let's watch it." Steve kisses Tommy. It's a joke, it doesn't mean anything. There isn't an explanation for what happens after that.
