Make me care about a character I've never thought about before!!!!!

I've infected you with Keelin, Jackson and Aiden worms already but there is no shortage of characters who got nothing from canon that I think about.

On today's menu we have Kaleb Westphall, who I know you've thought about before, but not enough people dig into what he could be in this fandom for me!!!!!!!!! From Kol being put in his body, we really only know three things about him;

He doesn't have anyone who would miss him.

He's not as powerful as Vincent but he's not entirely weak either. Josephine called his magic potential promising.

He was a French Quarter witch.

Because we know so little about him, I get to completely make shit up. In MY personal headcanon, Kaleb wasn't born & raised in New Orleans. He originates from Ireland and his entire family isn't actually dead, he just didn't have contact with him at the time of his possession. He fled from his old coven and ended up in New Orleans, hiding out from their influence. Little did he know, if he had kept a single line of communication open, someone would've noticed.

Most of my headcanons surrounding him have to do with the fact that I think he does come to care about Davina and kinda Kol in his own way, from inside his consciousness. Yes, I know Vincent didn't remember being possessed, but it's my truth that Kaleb received all his memories upon his actual death.
