@musemelodies asked: "Hey Belle, what'cha readin'? Ooh, is it the one about the three bears? That's a classic!" Timon was currently perched on her head, peering down at the book, looking fairly interested. He didn't see any pictures of bears but maybe it was a different version, one with more plot twists and less porridge. He was not a fan of that stuff--too mushy. (Hope this is okay! 💛)

Belle giggles, briefly glancing down at Timon with a fond smile before returning to her book. "It's actually a more modern fairytale about a goddess who is ordered to curse a girl. This girl finds unlikely help in a sorceress with a sordid reputation. I've just gotten to the part where they realise they're falling in love with each other!"

It isn't exactly classic literature, but Belle has always been a sucker for romance, and it warms her heart to see so many queer romances being published and celebrated in modern day.

Simba would flick his ears and gasp when Timon mysteriously pulled out one of the crunchy bugs he was hungering for. "Wow. You found one." The young lion was hungry for a bug. Thanking his adoptive father, Simba snatched up the beetle and crunched it loudly. Licking his chips afterwards and proclaiming. "Mmmm! Yum-my!"
