OOC: Is tumblr really flagging posts with AI again? I just saw it on my dash and wondered if anyone had experienced this yet?

OOC: believe it or not, I have been working on stuff for my blog in the background the past few days. I will say that I may not be using icons for a while, though. Truth be told, I just want to write and not get too caught up with other stuff and I hope that's okay with you guys. Will icons come back in the future? Maybe but if I'm going to be writing, I will most likely be using a mobile device and the app to do that atm and so just want to play in the kiddy pool and not the deep end for the time being.

If you've sent me memes while I've been absent, I promise you, none of them has been deleted, I will be working on those, too. I appreciate all of the memes you guys have sent and I'm so sorry for being slow. I honestly think the mental health meds I'm on have made being creative rather difficult. Used to, before I was on medication, my brain never turned off, it was always going 90 miles an hour and that was anxiety driven and I understand that now. I thought once I had medication, that it would help weed out anxiety and help me focus more on writing again, but that hasn't really been the case... The medicine I'm on makes my brain really quiet now and I think that's what has affected my ability to write.

Just to give you guys an idea, the medicine I'm on for anxiety, is also prescribed to people who have seizures, too. It helps slow down activity in the brain down. But that's only one medicine. I'm on three different ones. Another one being for insomnia and another emergency one for anxiety when the other two aren't working.

I'm not trying to make excuses for not being here. I've honestly tried putting my finger on what's going on with me for awhile now. I want to be here and I want to write, just my brain is really sluggish at times.

OOC: I'm not normally someone who comments on real world events here on Tumblr but...

There are somethings that I feel will eventually come to effect Tumblr, Discord, Steam, etc etc., in the near future, and It's all of these online safety acts that are popping up all around the world. And while I understand the sentiment, wanting to take care of children, I worry what it will do to things that have NSFW or adult content; even roleplay, video games, etc., I feel like it will eventually make it impossible to roleplay, because "adult content bad and must be punished!"

You all have to remember, many people voting on these issues are older and probably doesn't even know what a "Tumblr" is, or they won't know what roleplay is. They will probably see what some of us are writng and will start screeching, "but think of the children!"

If this was all about taking care of children, I would completely understand, but I feel that it will go deeper than that. I feel like it's more about controlling adults and what they do online.

OOC: I somehow managed to get Covid and I had been lucky enough to avoid it for this long. It's the first time that I've had it and it's definitely kicking me in the behind. Anyways, I wanted to post this as a reminder to everyone, it's close to that season again, where the flu and covid are more common and it's spreading again. So, mask up and be sure to wash your hands when you're able to. Take your vitamins and drink lots of water, too.

OOC: I've really been into meteorology lately and it's making me want to give some of my characters storm chaser AUs. The coolest thing that I've seen is, over the summer, I saw a storm chaser propose to his girlfriend in front of a huge tornado in the background and this was done live (so everyone watching could see it) and I could only think, "This insanity is truly something only a storm chaser would do." But it was pretty cool tbh
