The compulsory pre show shots continue for a fifth year.
I know the dead space fandom is not really in the theory side of stuff and it's very small, but I have the idea that marker resistance isn't just based on intelligence but is also based on how your brain is wired as well.
Such as neurodivergence. They could theoritically last longer against marker influence due to their differences in brain chemistry, though at the same time they could also fall easier what with the constant whispers that I assume isn't just atmospheric like the music. Because honestly that would be hell, and I say this as someone who constantly hears static.
Theoritically they would just be normal traumatized like Isaac is in the beginning before his mind broke entirely, as indicated by Isaac's rapid heart rate you hear every time he's startled or watches someone die in front of him, self inflicted or otherwise.
Another theory is that those already suffering from mental illnesses like depression or schizophrenia would go under the radar and thus would likely become the first of the necromorphs since the infection would go unnoticed in these populations.
