Annon-Guy: In a tag team fighting game (2-on-2), how would the cast of Guilty Gear StrIVe feel about fighting alongside another fighter, regardless if they're from their own world or any other?
For example, May would be happy to work alongside other people. Now, she'd LOVE to be with Johnny or Dizzy on a team, but May screams Team Player!
Granted, it would depend if their ally is a hero or villain, but I'm just curious.
This was actually done in earnest in Guilty Gear X Advance on the GameBoy Advance many years ago... even had several Tag Team quotes for victories.
It'd be a little tricky to write reaction combinations for everyone, since the Guilty Gear "Potential" roster has gotten a LOT larger since those days...
But, taking a few cues from BlazBlue Crosstag Battle, I imagine there would be a "Tag Team Special Intro" and a "Tag Team Special Victory Interaction" at the bare minimum for specific combinations of characters.
Still, Strive is producing the Team of 3 mode which is coming soon, so maybe they'll do something along those lines for certain teams.
