Kaeya is barely holding himself upright as he enters the tavern. Yet, as always, he is quite stubborn and wants a Death After Noon. That Diluc was tending the bar was an unfortunate (?) circumstance that day, that much he will admit.
Honestly, he feels like shit. But he powered through countless reports and, hell, he's not sick, he can't be, he has a cryo vision! He doesn't catch colds, he just.. he can't. It's just not possible! So he drags himself towards the bar, nose stuffy, bags under his eyes from the lack of sleep. His throat hurts, and so he rasps: "One Death After Noon." He tries his best to not flinch at the sound his own voice makes. " Why are you looking at me like that, Luc? Not happy to see me?"

“…you aren’t feeling sick, are you? I can call Ratchet.”
"...Yes. But don't call Ratchet, please. It's complicated."
He feels restless. The lack of impending emergencies and newly restored buildings, the actual beginnings of a functioning city state with all the common pre-war amenities, the ability to have energon whenever he wanted it…
It’s overwhelming. It feels wrong. A smaller, quieter part of him insists that success only comes with sacrifice. He hasn’t truly hurt in a while, though the odd fillings dotting his forehelm say otherwise. But he hasn’t used his Warrior title at all. Most Cybertronians return peacefully. Those who don’t are dealt with before Bumblebee even knows there’s a problem.
…It didn’t used to be that way.
Was he not good enough? Did he let the team down in some way? What else did they expect from him, from a starved runt not chosen by Primus but trying to step up and respect the last Prime’s wishes?
With a huff, he decides to get up and drive. A good adrenaline rush will help him stop thinking.

"This looks great...but I can't really eat solid food right now. But it's nice to see you, Jack!"
"For everyone who ordered me to take a nap: I couldn't. I tried for an hour. The recharge. It would not come."

"... Uuuh, aren't you a kid?"
"If this is a universe where I'm allowed to have a kill count straddling the triple digits but I can't have illicit substances, then I wanna cancel my subscription."
...
"Sorry, that was mean. No, I'm not a kid, I'm an adult. Pay no attention to the youngling frame, we still don't have the materials for my final frame upgrade yet."
The last thing either one of them expected to find when they were looking for Bumblebee was a sparkling.
Much less a sparkling that looked like Bumblebee.
"What in the pits....?"
Bumblebee was on his way to visit the twins. The moment he shifted out of vehicle mode, he went through a different transformation.
Now, staring up at the twins with hilariously large optics and comically-sized doorwings, a sparkling version of Bumblebee happily waved at the twins.
"Hi Sunny! Hi Sides!"
