Personality:
Alyssia Park:
As Alyssia, she is both charismatic and an enigma. Unpredictable and yet alluring. Sensual on stage and flirty on majority of the occasions, she is a walking beacon of pride and confidence in her own body. Alyssia is affected less intensely by her issues when she’s acting as Alyssia--she can tolerate brief touches for dancing, close proximity with other men, loud noises--something that as Soyeon she finds herself incapable of coping. Alyssia is the persona that most people see, even with others so considered as her friends, and not the low esteemed and fragile Soyeon. The true personality of Alyssia only appears to those she consider as family, to those who she feels she can entrust her broken self into, without any risk of shattering into pieces.
As Alyssia, she hates showing any sign of weakness. Competitive in spirit and opportunistic, she grabs at every opportunity that floats her way, be it good or bad for her, causing her to end up in situations where she’s not necessarily portrayed as the best. She rarely cries, choosing to sit quietly at a corner and silently brood about things, a childhood quirk imbued in her since the very beginning of her time.
She is open, friendly but aloof, and teases almost everyone she meets--but yet she is also quietly observant, intuitive and perceptive. It is something that she picked up in her youth carried over into her perception of being Alyssia: A survival instinct, dating back to the days where she was subservient beneath her only family.
She is currently estranged from her only father, and refuses to either meet him, or talk to him either way. He is the greatest monster in her life, and one that she refuses to acknowledge as her creator.
Alyssia also has a temper, which flares only when talking about her past and family. She turns prickly, and lashes out verbally at everyone and anyone without a care in those times, both in anger and fear of continuing to talk about her past. She is an escapist, and will choose to turn and not face reality unless she truly needs to.
.:: Please don’t look at me, for I am truly ugly.::.
Soyeon
Soyeon is the other side behind Alyssia, the lesser, low esteemed person that is almost the exact opposite of the bold, sexual and daring Alyssia. Preferring large hoodies, comfortable clothes that hides her body and staying home, Soyeon is the product of someone who has gone through childhood abuse--for far too long and without any therapy. She is quiet, contemplative and depressive, her insecurity as high as a skyscraper and her fears as amplified as the loudest speaker. Soyeon is what Alyssia has cut away from the crowd, the imperfection, the weaknesses, the fragility and the ugly. Only her members and close friends have seen this side of her, especially during her night terrors and panic attacks. Soyeon bleeds through when something triggers Alyssia’s issues, flailing, floundering and desperate for someone to anchor her and just reassure her broken self that nothing has gone wrong.
Family:
Father: Park Jongil (Estranged)
Trivia:
(*) She hates smoking and cigarettes since it reminds her of her father--so try not to smoke in front of her or she’ll be irritable
(*)Her Night Terrors are dependent on the amount of stress she has, so when she has comebacks, they increase
(*)If people try to touch her without her consent she will go crazy and flip (Especially if they touch her neck, waist or chest, and this is confined only to males--she is very sensitive to touch and can tell if its a male or female touching her.)
(*)She is very affectionate to those she cares about
(*)She likes to play pranks
(*)She rarely has panic attacks nowadays, having a better control over her own emotions
(*)She seems very cold and aloof when people first meet her, but as soon as she opens her mouth its always either a flirtatious comment or a tease.
(*)She is good at acting
(*)She is a very loyal friend, and will tear those who hurt her friends and those she considers as family into pieces if she can.
(*)She prefers to dress in comfortable clothing back at home rather than in sexy, revealing clothings, but will change her wardrobe style the moment she leaves the house.
(*) She prefers long hair compared to short hair
(*) Despite all her problems she’s a good listener and emotional support.
NOTE(*) Never, NEVER call Alyssia by her legal name Soyeon. She hates her legal name, and only people who have seen her at her worst (when she's having her attacks etc) or she has confided in or are extremely close with (like her members) can get to call her that. But even so, just DON'T. The name has bad memories with it, unless you are crazy enough to want a prickly, triggered Alyssia...
