➝ bitna let out a loud groan as she shut the cabinet. all the snacks were gone-- that would figure. the girls had been without schedules and were given a bit more leniency with their snacking, even if they usually were on a diet during promotions. while this was overwhelming a good thing in all the girl’s eyes it also meant that they were going through snacks faster than any of them realized. having just woken up from a nap, the red head’s stomach was growling in protest and demanding chocolate and there was none to be had. she whined loudly, stomping her feet on the ground like a small child, only comfortable with the behavior since she was alone.
dragging herself out of the kitchen, she hollered something into the dormitory living room about going to the comet cafe to get some food before shuffling her way out. the thought crossed her mind that she didn’t look all that great, dressed in short shorts and a hoodie that would be big on members of the boy groups at yuseong and no makeup and a messy ponytail but she could only care so much. she was already considered the least pretty of etoile so she wouldn’t disappoint anyone with her looks if she was seen by anyone outside of the company.
despite being an idol under yuseong for years, the building still felt foreign and overwhelming. it made her feel even smaller than usual, if that was possible. she moved with purpose on her way to the cafe, hoping no one would stop her to chat. her bright appearance was a mask for a very shy, uncomfortable introvert but very few apart from the etoile members knew is was a farce and expected her to be the energy pill she always seemed to be on variety. she wasn’t sure if she had enough energy in her battery to perform like that today, at least not before getting something to snack on.
wrapped in her thoughts, she took in none of the details around her-- something she was guilty of often. she had made a note to be better about the habit but she clearly had more work to do. a loud “oomph!” escaped her lips as she ran head on into a much taller body. being preoccupied meant she didn’t have the forethought to brace herself and she rather unceremoniously toppled to the floor. “was that a brick wall?” she wondered aloud, rubbing her shoulder that was now aching from the impact. she let out a huff, her hair flying everywhere from the stream of air. she looked a proper mess, she was sure. “i’m really sorry about that. i don’t know what got into me, i just wasn’t paying attention.” she apologized profusely, still planted firmly on the ground.
