"Oh, no." The staff's explanation went through one ear and out another. The occasional word slips through. Haneul, injured, going to the hospital. "Oh, no no..." Chorong mumbled to herself as she fumbled for her phone, searching for the proper numbers to call, text, anything. With the music festival already cleared out, it's the perfect chance for her to slip away without the permission of any managers or those who might have been looking out for her. It's not atypical for the Dandelion member. ( Though, most would learn it would be best if she were kept on a short leash. )
As she slid into the back seat of a cab, her mind was racing, and her face scrunched together in an attempt to hold back the tears threatening to fall. "To the nearest hospital please!" And step on it! She leaned her head against the window. Everything would be fine. There was no need for her dramatics. The entire ride there was something of a blur, and before she knew it, she was stumbling into the hospital's gift kiosk to buy flowers and a small bear with "get well soon" embroidered on its stomach. ( As if either would cure Haneul of anything that happened. )
She stepped up to the receptionist's desk, lips pulled up into a pout and her eyes already bursting with tears. "I need to see Seo Haneul! What room is he in?" Really, there was no need for such dramatics. It wasn't as if he were on the verge or death or lost a limb or... Her eyes grew into saucers. But what if?
"Err... Well, who are you to him? Visiting standards say thatㅡ"
Think quick, Chorong. It's time to put that acting ability to good use. To come up with a partially believable lie. Not his sister, no. And no way would they believe she was his aunt, what with being younger than him. "I am... his cousin!"
The nurse eyed her with skepticism but combed through her clipboard with a resigned sign. "Fine. Room down the left hall. It's the only one with a closed door right now. Just don't cause any trouble or you're out of here." Chorong immediately broke into a run, bolting down the hallway until she came across what could only hope was his room. She knocked on the door with her free hand, peering into the small window on the door to see ㅡ His manager, glaring back at her with defiance.
"Please! Let me in. I need to see Haneul! Is he okay? I-it's Chorong! I got him flowers and a snack, look! Look!" She held up her gifts in an attempt to make an appeal, hoping she was at least loud enough for Haneul to hear on the other side.
