Next Tuesday, I will be undertaking my second therapy session, focused on eliminating my mask-wearing habit. Following my initial session last year, where I achieved 88% improvement, I am optimistic that this subsequent session will bring about complete recovery. People are confused about the attending-thing. Shen and Abbot are both attendings, and people were like "So, doesn't make sense that Robby were the only on the daylight shift", and my personal thoughts is that Robby was attending with Adamson, in a way Shen is the attending of the night, fresh out of the residency. Maybe Robby spent years as one of the attendings, after learned a lot from Adamson. But since his death, Robby do not hired a new "Shen-Robby", and maybe he was waiting for Langdon become the other attending, so he could spent less time on the ER. Well, guess who fucked up all his plans with benzos? Right.

Maybe now Robby is looking for a new one (Whitaker? of course isn't Mohan even if she would be great), but certainly i dont think Al-Hashimi is keeping his job after the sabbatical.

Expanded Cassie McKay Prompt for the Pitt

Cassie conquers addiction and goes to med school before having Harrison. She is an attending and in charge of pitt instead of Robby, who is still an attending. No ankle monitor and full custody. Pitt is much less dysfunctional under Cassie's leader ship and is good mentor to all students and residents equally. Married to Al-Hashimi

possible scenario- Cassie was an homeless addict starting at 18 until she turned 22 and her best friend OD'd it shook her and then she willingly entered rehab and got back in touch with her parents. With their help she got into college and med school graduating by the time she was 30 still slightly older but not as old as her Cannon self at 40 she still matched the Pitt but did her residency before anyone work there other than Robby, Abbot, Dana and some of the nurses. After her four-year residency she left PTMC briefly to do a 2-year addiction Fellowship following that she returned to Pitt as an attending in the emergency medicine by then she was 36.

During med school, Cassie met Al-Hashimi and then remained close friends and stayed in touch while Al-Hashimi was abroad and then came back to work the VA. Cassie recommended Samira to Al-Hashimi during Samira's 2nd year to do a roation at the VA, and in turn Al-Hashimi recommended Mel to Cassie. Cassie knows about Al-Hashimi seizures and is always a comforting sounding board, and always encourages her to be honest with her employers about them. A few years after Al-Hashimi moved back, she and Cassie finally acted on their feelings for one another and married, blending their families.

And her personal life Cassie still had Harrison at age 31. she didn't marry Chad. Chad Charmed her when he was at a fundraiser for the hospital and they had a very brief relationship or even just a one night stand. Chad is from a rich family they broke up shortly before Cassie found out she was pregnant and never got back together but they have a joint custody arrangement alternating weeks. It was like that until shortly before Cassie was put in charge of the Ed. Chad had started dating Chloe like in Canon but unlike Cannon Cassie was able to tolerate her due to her better standing in life.

Optional, she still didn't like Chloe trying to Mother Harrison Chad and Chloe got high one day and when Cassie confronted them about getting high in front of Harrison Chad punched her and this was in public so Chad got charged with assault his Rich family prevented jail but he got an ankle monitor and Harrison only sees him every other weekend. Cassie got a restraining order against Chad and has to use an approved to go between the drop off Harrison.

Other optional- Chloe still tries to goad Cassie into attacking her, but it either doesn't work, or Chloe attacks first and tries to refuse Cassie's claim of self defense, but with Cassie being one of Pittsburgh's most respected Doctor's it doesn't work so not ankle monitor. more optional, but Chloe could wind up on the monitor.

Harrison doesn't really like his father and barely tolerates the weekends. Harrison loves his mother and is very proud to be the son of a doctor. Due to never getting married to Chad, Harrison has Cassie's last name of McKay.

When Langdon and Collins started their residencies Cassie was a good Mentor to both of them but she really took off with Collins while Landon gravitated more towards Robby. As for Robby after Cassie was an attending for 4 years she noticed how frail Robby's Health was especially after they both went through covid together and the death of Robby and Cassie's Mentor Adamson.

With Cassie being Robby's friend in addition to Abbot Robbie finally accepted he needed help 2 years before season 1 unlike his Cannon self he was just powering through. He left the Ed in Cassie's hands and took a sabbatical two years before season 1 and got some mental help. when he returned he told Cassie he no longer wanted to be in charge of the ed he just wanted to be an attending because he saw how well Cassie was running it and while not perfect was preventing a lot more burn out that he was.

Cassie was 40 years old when that happened. During Robby sabbatical Cassie became close with Landon and started mentoring him. Optional but she noticed how he hurt his back right after he helped his parents moved and quickly realized that he was on the downward spiral towards addiction. Cassie confronts Frank and convinced him who take some time off and get some actual help before he needs rehab and risk his career. Frank listens to her and tells his wife Abby and together they get him clean and some physical therapy to help his back.

Cassie also becomes friends with Eileen Shasmi and helps Eileen become more respectful towards emergency medicine with this Cassie also knows Victoria before Victoria starts at the pitt in season 1 this also makes Victoria more excited for her Ed rotation than she was in Cannon cuz she's excited to learn from Cassie.

When Samira starts her intern year Collins and Robby gave her the name slow mo pretty quickly but Cassie shut that down and admonished Robby for humiliating Samira this was the inciting incident that made Robbie realize he needed help and go on his sabbatical.

Cassie took Samira under her wing and made Samira realize that her tendency to get full patient histories and bond with them is a strength but also pushed her to acknowledge that she doesn't need to do it with every patient allowing Samira to keep her strengths but also pick up speed.

Cassie also pushed Samira to realize that even if she's planning to go back to New Jersey after her residency instead of just focusing on work she can enjoy her time in Pittsburgh and put down a few roots beyond that causing Samira to have a much healthier work life balance by the time she's a third year resident in season 1.

By the time Mel Trinity Dennis and Victoria start the changes Cassie made to the Ed causes spiraling effect to how they are treated on their first day as opposed to Canon.

Mel still bonds with Landon as a mentor but also likes Cassie unlike Canon were they very rarely interact probably due to being the same rank in Canon. Just like some she did with Samira and her workaholic tendencies Cassie makes Mel realize she can't live solely for Becca she needs to be able to get her own life especially since Becca's now at Independent Living and can live hers. Mel resisted first but eventually takes Cassie's lessons to Heart has a heart-to-heart with Becca that allows them to resume a more sister like relationship after years of Mel being Becca's caretaker as a result Becca tells Mel about her relationship with Adam that Becca starts in between season 1 and 2 unlike can or Becca didn't tell Mel until she got treated for her UTI in the middle of season 2 Mel is more accepting of the relationship as a result acknowledging that Becca is capable and confident enough to do a relationship and approaches any safety issues as a concerned sister rather than a Stern caregiver.

Due to Cassie mentoring Frank during Robby's sabbatical and preventing him to come coming a full-blown addict who diverts medicine Frank is able to be a slightly better mentor to Trinity while he still gets very frustrated by her tendencies to do procedures without running them by senior residents like him or attending like Cassie and Robby he's much less mean about it. And since he isn't diverting medicine Trinity becomes less disrespectful towards him

optional- as the season goes on Trinity does notice someone is diverting meds and does believe it to be frank at first until they're inciting incident at 3:00 p.m. of season 1 unlike Canon when Frank yelled at Trinity for not getting him to treat the overheating patient instead Landon pulls Trinity aside after the treatment works tells her one good catch but also stop treating patients without consulting higher ups. this makes Trinity realize Frank isn't the type of person to divert making her curious as to who it is when she eventually gets suspicious of Garcia being the diverter she brings her suspicions to both Cassie and Landon. Cassie then thanks them both but says she will handle it and goes to Eileen, and then them both confront Garcia.

Cassie was also checking in on Trinity throughout that day and helping her realize she's being a little too overzealous. Dennis remains roughly the same as in Canon with Robby taking a shine to him but is even kinder to him due to having a better Mental Health.

Cassie still does triage on the season one. Cassie doesn't treat triage/chairs as a punishment and insist all residents and attendings work it part of the week, and pittfest day was her turn. for the first few hours she still has Victoria Shadow her after the fainting incident like Canon. Cassie gets on Victoria for her judgmental nature though as much Kinder about it since she knows Victoria through Eileen and Victoria is much more receptive to it since Cassie has no ankle monitor and is not being judged by Victoria.

Final part of premise during the season one day Cassie does know Collins is pregnant due to their closer relationship as mentor and mentee as a result Collins goes to her and Dana when she has her miscarriage and when Collins insist to keep working Cassie is very gentle but firmly says you need to go home you had a bad day there's no shame in that as a result Collins leaves around 3:00 p.m. 2 hours earlier than she did in Canon Cassie like Robbie didn't Cannon and stripped a call instead turn off her phone and TV and just get some sleep and as a result Collin still misses pittfest shooting.
