all premises have Anne, Sasha, and Marcy live in Pittsburgh instead of LA and The Boonchuy's restaurant Thai Go is a popular hangout for the PTMC crew and they often provide meals for the hospital.
Potential backstory 1- Anne boonchuy is the biological daughter of Samira mohan. Samira had her when she was 16. Samira had her with a thai boyfriend who wanted nothing to do with it and moved back to Thailand with his parents and left no contact info. Samira wanted to keep anne and despite what her mom thought she did, Anne in this universe is Anne Mohan. Samira's mom Jaya strongly disagreed, so Samira got herself emancipated. She raised Anne herself, and thanks to money left to her by her father, was still able to put herself through college and med school. It was hard, raising anne and attending classes, but samira made it work. She and her mom stopped speaking.
Anne is functionally the same as she was in Canon the boonchuys exist as does Thai go. Samira works for them during college to earn extra money and they become close, as samira wants anne to have connections to her thai roots. Samira is close to them spending many days in med school studying while anne had dinner which is also where anne got her passion for cooking with Samira even allowing anne to cook there. Raising Anne also causes Samira not to be such a workaholic. Samira also becomes closer with Cassie, as they are both single moms in residency. Optional but Samira's friendship causes cassie not to get into the fight with chloe and acquire her ankle monitor. anne begins to view Harrison like a little brother, and that influences her friendship with spring
As Samira is not talking with her mother, She plans to stay in pittsburgh and manages to secure a sports medicine fellowship at PTMC after her resciency, sports medicine interesting her after Anne started tennis. Anne's disappearance on her 13th birthday devastated Samira and that is the cause of her panic attack on the 4th in this au, which means Robby is also a little more sympathetic this time.
Samira is wary of Sasha noticing her manipulative Tendencies towards anne they haven't set anything yet because she thinks It might be because of Sasha's divorce but plan to talk about it with anne after her 13th birthday but never did because the girls disappeared into amphibia. her view of Marcy is the same as hands nice and Wicked smart but sometimes too hyper focused and exceptionally clumsy Samira has even treated Marcy in the Ed before. When Anne and the others went missing, Samira spent months looking for her, even joining PTMC's street team to do so on the clock.
Potential backstory 2- Similar to above, but with this added, cassie and Samira meet in med school and bond being single moms and later fall in love and get married. Anne and Harrison become step siblings. Cassie thinks Sacha is a lot like Chloe.
Potential backstory 3- Like the first one above, but Samira gave Anne up for adoption, but it's an open adoption so Samira still got informed. Anne was adopted by the Boonchuy's, but knows who Samira is. When samira moved to pittsburgh for residency, the Boonchuy's let her move in with them and Samira took on a sisterly role to Anne, but was careful not to overstep.
Potential backstory 4- Anne is the Daughter of Eileen and the sister of Victoria, you can either have anne has the daughter of raymond as well, or have eileen have anne with anne's canonical father during a time she and raymond where split up in this au and Eileen had anne with anne's canonical father. your choice whether or not Eileen got back with raymond. Anne feels insecure around Victoria due to Victoria being a prodigy (especially since Anne is turning 13, the age Victoria graduated high school) and that is why is this au Anne is a lazy student. Eileen is somewhat harsh with Anne but not like she was with Victoria since Anne isn't a prodigy, but Eileen does like both Sacha and Marcy. She views Sacha as ambitious and driven like herself, and enjoys Marcy's intellect. Victoria also likes Marcy but is somewhat envious of the fact that Marcy's parents allow her to have friends and attend school at a normal pace unlike Victoria herself. Victoria is wary around Sacha, viewing her friendship with Anne as toxic and manipulative, much like Victoria and Eileen's. The Javadi's and Victoria spent months looking for Anne when she and the others disappeared, Victoria even joining the street team with Cassie to spend as much time looking as possible. Optional- Anne's disappearance can either cause Eileen to reflect on her parenting attitude and soften toward victoria, or cause her to double down on pushing Victoria towards Eileen's perception of greatness. If the later happens, Victoria stops speaking with Eileen, moves out and goes to live with either Cassie or Trinity, and starts dating whomever you have her move in with.
Potential backstory 5- Cassie marries Anne's father after Anne's mother passes away, making Cassie Anne's step-mom and Harrison Anne's step brother. Anne's father helps support Cassie during med school and helps her get custody of Harrison back by proving to the court Cassie has a new support system. Anne and Harrison are close, and this influences Anne's future friendship with Sprig. Optional- Anne's father provided love and support to Cassie causes her not to lash out at Chloe, therefore not getting on the ankle monitor. Other Optional- if you still keep Cassie on the Ankle monitor, it causes her grief when Anne and the others go missing since it prevents her from joining Anne's father from looking for Anne until it gets off.
Potential Backstory 6- Anne is the daughter of Trinity's dead best friend, whom killed herself shortly after giving birth. Trinity kept track of Anne and made sure the Boonchuy's (whom adopted her in this au) where good parents. The Boonchuy's accept trinity for who she is, and wanting to be close to the only thing left of her best friend, this is why Trinity applied for residency at PTMC. Trinity joins the street
Potential Backstory 7- Mel and Becca's Mom married Anne's father after the deaths of both their spouses. It only last 5 years before she dies of her malignant pheochromocytoma. Anne's father is close with Becca and Mel likes him but doesn't know him as well focusing on her studies in college and med school but both Mel and Becca do their best to be good step-sisters to Anne. Since Anne's dad is there to care for Becca, Mel didn't fall into caregiver fatigue and maintains a more sisterly relationship, optional- but Becca can tell Mel about Adam when the relationship starts in this AU. Anne loves her big step-sisters and is close with Becca, but sometimes treats Becca like she treated Marcy, as someone who needs constant protection. Becca and Mel like Marcy, understanding her better than most due to the fact they are all neurodivergent. They don't mind Sacha as her snide comments go over their heads, much like Trinity's do with Mel's. Becca struggles when Anne disappear, not liking all the change. Mel joins the street team to look for Anne.
Potential backstory 8- Cassie and Chad are Sasha's parents Cassie feels guilty for how manipulative Sasha is since Cassie feels being high and losing custody of her and Harrison prevented Cassie from giving the guidance Sasha needed leaving her reliant on Chad this could mix with any of the backstories above.
Story Scenario 1- Have The Pitt season 2 be set 3 months after Anne disappears. Near the end of 4:00 PM have a portal open up in the middle of the pitt zapping several characters to Amphibia near the Plantar's farm. Pick which characters go but I'd like to see a bunch, my favorite's being Cassie, Victoria, Samira, Mel, Trinity, and Becca. This is set a week after the Season 1 Finale of Amphibia, shortly before they depart for Newtopia. Depending on which backstory you use, have Anne have a tearful reunion to whomever she's related to in this story. The Pitt employee's are shocked at Amphibia but are grateful to the Plantar's for taking her in.
They are worried about Anne after hearing all the times she nearly died, and think she is surprising her emotions about Sacha, whomever Anne is related to telling her that they never really liked Sacha, viewing her a manipulative but even they are shocked at how Far Sacha has gone, they also express pride at Anne for finally standing up to Sacha (though they make it clear they don't like it came in the form of a deadly sword fight).
They also express worry about Anne's injures and the lack of modern medicine and tech in amphibia especially after hearing how her arm got sprained during the fight in Toad Tax. Anne tries to reassure them and also points out that wartwood has no doctors and even if they did they wouldn't know how to treat a human (even pointing out she hasn't seen any mammal species in amphibia) and insist on examining her, which they do to the best of their abilities since they have no medial equipment other than their stethoscopes but do their best. Cassie bonds with Sprig, being reminded of Harrison (Optional but you can have Harrison zapped to Amphia as well if you don't want him separated from cassie). Trinity and Victoria bond with Polly, the former because they are both sarcastic and the latter because she can recognize Polly is a prodigy. Also have the Doctor's, especially Trinity, be sad that they will probably be stuck in Amphibia so long they will have to repeat their current Resident years.
Optional but if you have a doctor who is not family to Anne have Anne insist they examing her since it would be weird otherwise. Also optional- but everyone except maybe Mel and Becca can tell Hop Pop is lying about the music box (due to their experience working in an ED where patients lie and in the case of Cassie and Trinity their past prior to being doctors), causing his burying of it to be uncovered early. They don't see through Andrias's lies since he is a much better liar than Hop Pop and being 1,000 years old.
Optional- you can feature chapters on earth where the rest of PTMC has to deal with the chaos, since a portal opened up in the middle of the ed scaring everyone. not only due Robby and Al-Hashimi have to deal with losing several doctor in the midst of the July 4th shutdown shift, but also Mr. X and the FBI swoop in to try to close the hospital. Optional- robby makes a deal with Mr. X for full cooperation with his investigation in exchange for letting the ED stay open and kicking out the ICE agents and letting treat the undocumented immigrant. Mr. X agrees since he knows that coruportative witness are better and he has no love for ICE either.
Story Scenario 2- Have The Pitt Season 2 be set 6 months after Anne disappears, and Anne and the Plantar's are on earth after the events of Amphia's season 2 finale. Anne head to her house and meets up with her dad and after leaving the Plantar's there is brought to PTMC for a checkup and reunion with whomever you choose to have Anne related to. They examine Anne and then the related person helps Anne confess everything, including Marcy being stabbed and Anne's desperate (and unknown to everyone but correct assumption) belief that Marcy is alive. You can have others find out about the Plantar's and bond (for example Dennis can tell Hop Pop about human farming and vice versa). Also, when Anne's powers get exposed the doctor's do everything they can to try to test why she has them, but modern medicine can't explain magic.
Both Story Scenarios should eventually lead to Andrias's and the Core's invasion, and then have scenes in PTMC where they are treated injured people from the invasion, much like Pittfest.
