I guarantee you he got over that on the day of his first murder and has been quite happy with himself ever since. You get aroace theory through the thick haze of his complete disinterest and hes like "wow, I won a lottery at birth" and then immediately forgets your entire explanation because he can use that brainspace for memorizing more gen z slang to torment Vox with. Alastor is like that, except he is not your grandparent and doesn't give a shit. He's 120+ years old. He has seen more genders than you have and has never once considered matching pronouns to them because he was too busy enjoying eviscerating a queerphobe who was rude to them in his presence.
