((I dreamed about the preincarnation before Leonard, an enthusiastic archaeologist. His beloved (Charlie DeLacey’s past life) was set to run away with him bc her father didn’t approve, and they were excited to start their new life together, until he fell in a plant with microscopic jellyfish-like barbs that left him crippled. She stole him away to her sister’s house (she was an amateur chemist) and tried to look after him, but her dad found them and ordered her to choose. She couldn’t, so Fitz left, knowing that it wouldn’t be him. He died a month later from a broken heart and the poison bc the spikes were never removed))
