#saaaaaaame#its infuriating#the lack of imagination#the lack of curiosity#the lack of ability to contemplate any other possible scenario#the acceptance of the unacceptable#humanity has been through so so many different social and political arrangements through our 200‚000+ years of existence#there is no reason things have to be like this or stay like this#read the dawn of everything by david graeber and david wengrow if you need some really good evidence of that#i feel like anybody who refuses to imagine a better world should just shut up and bow out of any major decision making process#cuz like you're not helping nor do you appear to even want to help
