i feel like the results we're getting are 1) it takes one big brain post to get me to like a ship 2) i would kiss a lot of people
i was tempted to circle the "i like it platonically" option on all of these bc/ i LOVE intense deranged platonic relationships
1) time travel jangosoka solving problems with the power of extreme violence. they are extremely sexy i want to put them in a cocktail shaker with awful terrible situations and cultural trauma. pour it out on the rocks in a dark cantina. all ur jangosoka stuff is great but especially this one
2) rexwalker i think it depends on your flavour of anakin (bc/ his characterization in the movies vs. tcw can be kinda different) but also i like them all. this is really good as unrequited pining like watching a force of nature that you can never touch and also really good as 'college boys up to no good'. i love these guys getting up to Shenanigans (tm). Sandstorm 'verse (which i know is not explicitly romantic) is a delight, 'young love' by cabezadeperro incredibly cute & it fistfights 'and if you leave me' on this bingo card. the last is a. very dark blink & you miss it exploration of the inherent power dynamics
3) OBITINE. i love obitine as young lovers figuring out their ideals & each other. i don't think obi-wan can look at a revolutionary burning bright and not fall in love. i SUPER love obitine as incredibly divorced despite never being married (but still holding onto a piece of the others heart). year on the run as a formative experience & the golden rage of your childhood when you looked at a broken world and thought. 'i can do better'.
haven't read many fics that truly capture this vibe unfortunately, probably because i read a lot of c*dywan & that naturally means other ships get sidelined. but 'a map towards honour' by galateagalvanized is very good... also 'What came after' (satine is barely present in this one but! implications!)
4) ventress/padme is GREAT because it exposes how truly weird & intense padme is which i think a lot of ppl miss. girlboss your way into bad decisions i'll drink to that babe. they are relationship goals because if you don't want a goth girlfriend/a girl who could fix you ur lying. i would like to see more fics
