The cotton serves as a decoy to distract the attacker. They go wherever the wind takes them; on rainy days, their bodies are heavier, so they take shelter beneath big trees. Perhaps because they feel more at ease in a group, they stick to others they find and they end up looking like a cloud.

#312 Minun - Minun cares more for its teammates than for itself, sending off showers of sparks and uses pom-poms made of sparks to cheer them on. If its friends are losing, its body lets off more and more sparks. At a meeting of Pokémon academics, it was declared that simultaneous exposure to electricity from a Plusle and Minun promotes circulation and boosts vitality.

#518 Musharna - The Drowsing Pokémon. Musharna can make the dreams they've eaten materialize in the form of a mist from its forehead. With this mist, it can create shapes of things from dreams it has eaten. The dream mist changes into many different colors depending on the dream that was eaten.

#327 Spinda - It is said that no two Spinda have the same pattern of spots. The chances of two Spinda having identical spot patterns is less than one in four billion. Spinda have the odd habit of staggering around when they walk. This makes them appear dizzy, but they are not. The teetering walk helps to confuse enemies and potential predators, messing up their aim.

#073 Tentacruel - Can extend up to 80 tentacles out of its body, most of which are hidden, leaving up to 14 exposed. Tentacruel’s tentacles can be freely elongated and shortened, and can absorb water to stretch to some length. The tentacles are normally kept short, but on hunts, they are extended to ensnare and immobilize prey, weakening the prey by dosing it with a harsh toxin. Its red orbs glow when it grows excited or agitated, and it may alert others to danger by stridently flashing them.

#595 Joltik - Since it cannot generate its own electricity, Joltik cling to larger Pokémon and suck up static electricity. They store this electricity in a special pouch. Joltik that live in cities have learned a technique for sucking electricity from the outlets in houses.

#115 Kangaskhan - A female-only species, Kangaskhan are very nurturing to their young and raise their offspring in a pouch on their belly. The infant rarely ventures out of its mother’s protective pouch until it is 3 years old. Kangaskhan will attack viciously and without warning if they feel their young are threatened in any way. When its mother is executing a move or striking a pose, the baby may imitate her actions.

#121 Starmie - Its central core can glow in seven different colors, but typically shows up as red. Starmie can emit electrical waves from the core that are powerful enough to reach the furthest parts of the universe. Due to this, many believe this Pokémon may have come from outer space. The core will go dark if Starmie is knocked unconscious, and will sometimes flicker, similarly to a light bulb.
