I am just dropping off my book bag at home and then I will meet you there. xox
Paul stepped into the front door, dropping his bag onto the floor. He then knelt down to say hello to Cerberus. “I gotta go meet, daddy. You have to be good. We will be home later...” He whispered, kissing the dog’s head. He then moved to stand up. As he turned toward the door, Cerberus whined a bit and he glanced back toward him. “it’s alright...” He said softly but then glanced toward the kitchen. Had he forgotten to take his medicine today? No... he had taken it. He decided as he pulled the door shut and made his track toward the carnival.
Better idea... just meet me over by the mirror thing...
He stood just outside the house of mirrors, taking a moment to scroll through social media as he waited for Chase. ‘Paul...’ He heard Chase say and smirked a bit. “Hey, baby...” he said softly, turning to look behind him only to find that Chase wasn’t there. “Chase...?” He asked softly, frowning a bit. ‘Paul...’ He heard the voice again. This time almost echoed from inside the house of mirrors. He frowned, looking inside. “Baby... I am not a big fan of the house of mirrors...” He stepped around the corner, looking inside. "This is so not funny..." He called out, walking in. 'Run, they are behind you!' He flinched, looking quickly behind before rushing in beginning to wander through the maze.
The further inside he got the louder the voices became. Screaming his name. Screaming for help. Screaming that someone was after him. "Please, just stop. No..." He cried out, spinning in a circle now trapped somewhere in the maze unable to find which way was out. The walls felt like they were closing in on him. He could feel his chest tightening as the panic sunk deeper in. He balled his fist and shoved it into one of the mirrors, shattering the glass. He reached forward, pulling a good sized shard free. At least he would be able to protect himself this way. He wrapped his hand around the glass, gripping tight as it dug into his skin causing his hand to bleed. 'Paul...' He heard Chase again. "Please... no... just stop! Just shut up!" He was hysterical at this point, backing into a corner just begging for it to stop.
