Hi. I wrote to you 3+ years ago about travelling to NZ with a baby for probably 6-8 weeks in the summertime wondering about North/South and just general thoughts you’d have for a first (and likely one) timer. You had written a long detailed answer which I very much appreciated at the time (and I wish I’d kept as I can’t find it obviously). That pregnancy didn’t continue and it’s been a journey but I’m currently 5 months pregnant and all seems to be going well so I’m thinking of heading to NZ at the beginning of next year during my mat leave. I won’t ask you to rewrite a whole post with your thoughts (unless you wanted to), but I did see Harry will be in Auckland on March 7th. Any thoughts on the stadium? I’m not a fan of stadium shows as a concept but seeing Harry across the world has an appeal. If I were to get tickets, do you think I’d be able to resell them if I don’t end up travelling? I wouldn’t want a profit but I’d also prefer not to lose money obviously. I don’t know if it’ll be very difficult to get tickets, I assume it’ll work with my local ticketmaster account. Canada to NZ will be expensive so budget needs to be considered for me. Thank you!
Oh anon. I'm so sorry to hear about your pregnancy. These last few years must have been hard. I hope things are getting easier, and congratulations and good luck with this pregnancy.
I couldn't find that post either (or remember writing it) so sorry about that. I hope if you do come you have an amazing time.
This is a bit too late to be helpful when it comes to tickets - sorry. I wouldn't call Mt Smart stadium a particularly good venue. It has some charm and I enjoyed the festival I went to there. But it's not new, and doesn't have particularly great lay out.
Tickets aren't sold out yet - but they have gone up in price (dynamic pricing is awful). There is still a possibility of another date being added (this has happened in Melbourne and Sydney and there's space for extra dates around each of his Australasian gigs). At this point I think you're best off waiting to see what ends up happening with an extra date and tickets being released closer to the time. (It's sort of what I'm doing).
tj sent me this sketch today :-) look how happy he is :-) i can’t stop smiling :-)
thank you so much!!!
