Bucky exhaled shakily and ran his hands over his body as he felt like everything was overwhelming to him. “I don’t know what we inhaled.” He admitted. It was so rare that anything that could have such an effect on him so it had him shaken up.

“How in the hell are you handling this so well?” He asked as he wiped some of the sweat off of his body. “You don’t look as affected by this.”

On today’s episode of “with which thunder deity am I dealing”, we’re going to explore Raiden, god of thunder and protector of Earthrealm. 

A quick way to narrow it down is if he responds to Raiden or Rayden; there is a subtle difference and he will detect it. The problem with this strategy is that if it IS Rayden, he’s likely to respond to either, just to fuck with you, specifically.

Worry not, however, fair mortal, for there are other ways. If he so much as cracks a smile, the likelihood it is Raiden is VERY low. The man has little about which to smile, and fate seems hellbent on taking what small bit of that is left and putting it through some kind of cosmic woodchipper.

If you see hair? Rayden.

Bad-natured snickering? Absolutely Rayden.

No contractions? Raiden.

Fatherly? Could be either, depending on your definition of fatherly.

Eyes always glowing? Probably Raiden, COULD be a more... shall we say animated Rayden. 

Thinks 69 is hilarious? Rayden.

Temperament of the cool uncle? Probably Rayden.

Hat optional? Rayden.

Chastisement to make a point. Raiden

Pontificating speeches? Raiden.

Teasing to make a point. Rayden

Does he read you for filth? That’s Rayden.

Hides any possible affection toward Shang Tsung, past or present? Raiden.

Is absent at this exact moment on a quest for sorcerer ex dick? Rayden.

“Ain’t love grand?” Rayden.

“I must consult the Elder Gods.” Raiden.

Using this simple guide, it’s easy to differentiate, isn’t it? There are more, of course, and I absolutely encourage you to discover and use them. Now, go forth and klassify.
