Temrash 252 rubbed Tom's eyes. Looked at the screen again.

<Oh the high and mighty Temrash. You are absolutely no better than your peers.>
"Notice that I've been dealing entirely with your cousin. Jake may have his guard down. So shut up or I stab him in his sleep." Temrash 252 rubbed his eyes again. The bridge of his nose. His temples. Absolutely nothing would get rid of his migraine.
<Have you tried dislodging the foreign object shoved in there?>
"Clever. Adorable even." Temrash 252 sighed. "Oh fuck this. Impulsiveness works for somebody why not for me?" He picked up his iphone and looked up Rachel's number on Facebook. He didn't actually have it because who in their right mind would have Rachel's number in their phone?
Finally, he dialed and waited. "Hi, Sara. Can you put Rachel on?"
oh, i know all that stuff. he's told me that. i just...i don't know, i hardly see him anywhere. it worries me. he's out late a lot. what do you guys do at 1 in the morning?
Ah, your brother is probably in the "inner circle" then. (I keep telling them not to call it that; they think it sounds friendlier.) Basically, it's the group of people who run stuff, and the bigger The Sharing gets, the more people we need in that group and the more that group is needed.
The Sharing is a non-profit company, but it's still got it's share of behind the scenes issues. At 1am, any number of things could have happened. Maybe one of the kids in our anti-bully program could be in need of help. One time, I was out until 3 in the morning because a pipe broke in an office we were using.
Stuff happens, and I'm sorry it's getting between you and your brother. I'm sure he'd like you to be around more, too.
what do you actually DO at your sharing meetings? my brother is ALWAYS there and i don't get it.
What's to get? We're out to make people better. Our community better. We don't just hangout and have fun. We participate. We clean up parks. Do charity drives. Discourage bullying. Tutor younger students.
We believe humanity can be better with a little addition to your life.
