I feel like half the appeal of sciles is the fact scott is y'know The Good Guy who is trying his goddamn best, who desperately wants to save everyone and does NOT take failure to do so lightly. and then there's stiles, who could not give less of a fuck about anybody else At All if their name isn't scott mccall and thinks everyone who makes his best friend's life harder should die tbh :/

like c'mon. stiles gets to do that BECAUSE he's the best friend, not the hero. I can't believe people HONESTLY think it'd be better if stiles was in the right for this. he's selfish for the both of them on purpose bc scott doesn't get to be. they literally say it in the show!!!!!! it would not be better if scott acted like stiles!!!!!!!! I do not get why people want to change them I think this is peak dynamic
