hello blades and babes. 😌🗡🖤
*cheerleading your NaNoWriMo* also fencing is so cool! I've always been jelly of people who can do things with weapons. I hope your NaNo goes well!!
Aww! Thank you! It’s starting off slow, but hopefully I’ll pick up by the end of the week. I only started the fencing a few months ago! It’s fun, and I’m not as hopeless at it as I expected to be, given my lackluster/nonexistent history with sports.
NaNoWriMo Day 1
Stats:
Footwork - check
Research - check
Writing - not so much, unless I count the outline for word count (I don’t.)
Complaints:
I neither wrote my minimum nor feel like I have a finished outline.
I didn’t drill, only did footwork, but I can make up for that during the week.
Already a bit stressed.
Accomplishments:
Got good notes out of the fencing I did do.
Have far more planned for this NaNoWriMo than ever before, including a significant amount of (very shallow, high-level) research.
Tomorrow:
Footwork in the morning.
Further outlining based on character arcs tomorrow around lunch.
Unlikely to have much free time to write, but bring tablet everywhere anyway.
Rush so as not to be more than half an hour late to practice.
Avoid getting blood drawn before fencing practice.
30 minutes of research reading before sleep.
