Headcannon Virgil likes true crime but it always makes him really anxious before trying to sleep. Alright I won't lie this text has been pissing me off for some time now because Firefly, sweety... why the fuck do you care? You've destroyed planets before, of your own accord and on others orders, you have presumable millions of lives worth of blood on your hands, perhaps billions of Kafka's trailer is anything to go off of, and you're showing care for someone who you don't even know, who is, in some measure, impeding the progress of the girl you relentlessly simp over.

This is such a weird goof up in writing, maybe I'm just not seeing something because Hoyoverse is so historically consistent in characterization, and it feels jarringly out of character for Firefly to say this.

Like, is this just me? The same girl who was seriously considering fucking over her friends/saviors/intergalactic terrorist found family unit to live a long life is the same girl showing care over a random impersonator.
