ead.

ead values quality time the most. she likes one-on-one time and values conversations about everything and nothing. however, ead is relatively incapable of feeling love anymore. she has been through too much to even consider engaging in those kinds of conversations, nor does she have love to feel comfortable having quality time with them.

viper.

viper values physical touch and affection though she is apprehensive to receive it from people that she doesn't completely trust. realistically, she needs this badly. i'm not saying a relationship could fix her, nothing can fix her, but it might help a little. though, this does depend on the other person's level of crazy (i.e. kell would have made her worse, etc)

alecto.

alecto thrives from words of affirmation in both worlds. i don't think she has ever received them from anyone but jiwoo and viper -- hence why she is the way she is. someone who recognises her actions and listens to her would be life-changing.

florentina.

florentina likes physical touch especially, but she also likes to give and receive gifts. this is primarily to be able to flaunt her partner's affection and also to lay claim to them if they wear things or have things she's bought for them. she would never say no to gifts or physical touch, but it isn't something that she is ever desperate for. if her partner doesn't give it to her, she'll find someone who will.

👑 In their own story, are they the hero / villain / someone else entirely? ( alex / viper / kaito / alecto )

alexandria.

alexandria is self-aware to know that she commits evil acts but it is not the case that she sees herself as the villain, despite the general consensus of the population. she views herself as the victim and uses that to excuse the things that she does. she has also lied to herself enough to make herself believe that she has tried to repair the wounds that her father left behind on the continent.

viper.

she does not think of herself as either a hero or villain. she sees herself as a freedom fighter and one of the only ones brave enough to do what needs to be done. i think viper could fall definitively into the anti-hero category. she does not view her actions as inherently evil because she is doing them for the greater good. the collateral damage will be worth it once the are free from corporate rule.

kaito.

he would like to see himself as the hero but he does not see himself as integral enough to chainsaw or the guard's internal working to position himself so highly. in addition, he feels his past with the unfallen removes any possibility of him being truly righteous. he believes pearl is truly a hero, though.

alecto.

in astelar, she felt that she was trying to be good. she wanted to be the hero and to help people. she wanted acceptance. however, the perception of her has pushed her into accepting that she cannot break the evil that follows her around in the form of her "father" and so she will choose to accept being the villain. at least she may find acceptance from the drehers if she truly serves them.

in diamond city, she doesn't consider herself in either light. she is a neutral force that tries to create change through action. honestly, from my perspective, she doesn't have enough agency to be either. she will follow the person that guides her.

what if they had loved omen / velvet less? what if they hadn't loved them enough to let them go?

willow.

what if she had never gone to alejandro's that night? what if the two of them had left chicago for good? what if the sabbat had got them first?

viper.

what if her family had cared for her enough? what if it had been celia that was kidnapped instead? what if she hadn't fallen in love with axel?

what if she had been with lena the night she was attacked? what if she'd managed to kill her mother? what if she was stronger than she is now?

valarie. (d city verse)

the one from velvet. valarie asserts they don't care for apologies when someone has seriously wronged them. she doesn't see value in words that are likely empty. she will judge them from their next actions towards / against her. those that she thinks are beyond redemption for their actions against her, they'll seek to eliminate.

ead. (astelar verse)

ead had hoped that emre was capable of showing remorse for his actions that lead to lena's death and so her own fate. he had the opportunity when they were together in lyros. it never came and now he's dead, so it never will. she is disappointed that emre was a coward until the end.

pandora.

pandora wronged herself and pandora owes people a thousand apologies. the guilt eats her alive. she wants to be able to apologise to herself one day -- but she knows she'll never be able to. she'll never be able to be gentle with herself.

alecto. (d city verse)

there are too many apologies owed to alecto to count. none of the people that owe alecto apologies will ever offer them. i think the apology alecto most craves is from her birth mother -- for taking her childhood from her. for making her into something she doesn't think she ever wanted to be.

🌟 What’s something small they did as a child that hinted at who they’d become? ( lunetta )

i think lunetta was always a gentle child who really just wanted to help other people. i can picture her as young child trying to provide support or comfort to those older her, even if she didn't quite understand the issues they were having.

also, her care for the natural world would have always been apparent from childhood. helping tired insects, animals that were caught in hunter's traps and so on. she's just always been caring and worried about others.

🩸 What’s the worst injury they’ve ever had & the story behind it? ( valarie / ead / sarya / pandora )

valarie. (d city verse)

i genuinely don't remember any injuries that they've had in the campaign that were significant or lasting.

but the car crash that they had probably caused the worse injuries they've had. they were pretty extensive and imo left lasting scars across their body despite their embrace. nobody has ever seen them entirely without glamour except their sire.

the crush injuries from the theatre attack were pretty significant too.

she died from a slit throat at the hand of her mother.

following the murder of her girlfriend, lena, ead confronted her mother about the lies of the priory. in the following conflict, her mother gained the upper hand.

sarya.

sarya's worst injury isn't physical, though she has had thousands of injuries in relating to tying her dragon to her soul.

her worst injury is mental -- though she survived the wolf's eclipse, the images inflicted on her she will never recover from. hundreds dead and her only family massacred by a warrior the likes of had never been seen before. something inhuman, a mix between mechanics and human. often, she wishes that she had not been the one to survive.

pandora.

she would never willingly tell anyone this story. however, when she had a high-level job as a researcher for the montfortian government she was tasked to develop a chemical weapon.

she was never informed of the purpose of it. nonetheless, she never turned down an order. however, her husband died shortly after the task came through. as a result, she neglected it until she was running out of time.

so, inhibited through drugs and alcohol, she started the development of the weapon. unsurprisingly, it went wrong, and she suffered severe chemical burns to her right arm and torso following an explosion. the medics couldn't save the arm and amputated. it took her a long time to get used to the prosthetic arm that was provided.

🦋 What seemingly insignificant memory do they cherish the most? - (willow)

i could answer this as simply as: the simple moments with silas.

but really i think willow misses her friends an awful lot. i think her most cherished memory these days would be that of the first sleepover she had with her friends, maria and clara. they were innocent and untroubled then and it was just pure girlhood. everything got so complicated in highschool that she really does miss the days where things were simple.

pandora.

pandora so strongly believes in self-care until it is time for her to take care of herself. she'd rather keep powering through pain, or other physical or mental limits. but she would not let anyone else neglect themselves.

valarie. (d city verse)

she would always encourage others to guard their intentions or feelings but she struggles to do the same for herself.

kaito. (d city verse)

honestly all these characters have very similar flaws. kaito will tell people not to fight, but then he will always fight himself. the only time that he has ever backed down was when people he cared about could have truly been in danger.

sarya.

sarya doesn't really give advice. she gives orders to people. however, one piece of advice that she constantly receives is to treat people with more respect or grace -- but she rarely listens. she doesn't exactly believe in the concept of mercy.
