GET TO KNOW ME MEME:[2/4] favorite actresses JERRIKA HINTON When I left, I made two Instagram posts—one for the general fans of the show and general fans of Shondaland, and a separate post specifically for the ones that look like me. I’ve always known the importance of my being on that show and my face being on TV; I’ve always known what that means for people who look like me. That support has always been there and has always been vocal. It was the other side of it, also all of a sudden showing such love, that was a surprise.

Well, I get to break down stereotypical, stigmaed characters that are naturally seen and played by you know cis-gendered, white, blonde women. And I also get break down that stigma of how white women who are blonde are dumb, or African-American women can't play, or Latina women can't play you know Audrey. And I was like I'm going to tackle this and I'm going to live in this moment and I'm going to stand up for people who haven't gotten that oppurtunity.

GET TO KNOW ME MEME:[1/5] favorite actors YAHYA ABDUL MATEEN II There's something that theatre does when I step onto that stage and I just get all attention. I'm not gonna lie, I love it, like these lights right now, I love being under lights and theatre does that. You know you step onto a stage, you front of people and its dangerous game. It's like you lean forward and you never know what's gonna happen. So theatre is one of those mediums that I get a lot of immediate gratification out of that.
