re-introducing: harriet potter ↳ golden girl (x)

When Harriet Potter was ten years old, and her older brother James came back from his first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, she earned the name ‘Golden Girl’ for the first time. James, fresh off wizarding success, was the apple of Fleamont and Euphemia’s eyes - he was their perfect son. Harriet spent the next month listening to her parents beam about her brother, casting her aside as just ‘James’s little sister’, and one morning she woke up to bright golden coloured hair instead of the usual dark brown.

When Harriet went to Hogwarts the year after, everyone was expecting her to be sorted into Gryffindor, so when the sorting hat yelled out an unwavering ‘Hufflepuff’, surprise was an understatement. Nevertheless, the Potter family was more than accepting, especially James - for, in his eyes, Harriet Potter was the most perfect human in existence.

As the years went on, Harriet had earned the taunting name of Golden Girl from the Slytherins who believed all of her accomplishments came from being precious Potter’s little sister. The Marauders adored her (some maybe too much), and the teachers thought her brilliant. And when her fifth year ends and she’s bathing in the glory of summer, her brother’s closest friend comes knocking with a rucksack to his name and suddenly, Sirius Black was Harriet’s second older brother.

When sixth year rolls around, the whole school knows of Harriet’s new brother which proves to be an issue when Sirius’s actual brother gets appointed Harriet’s partner for a Defence Against the Dark Arts assignment. Now Harriet’s suddenly overly interested in Sirius’s estranged brother, Regulus Black who seems to be slipping down the slope of darkness, dragging Harriet down with him.

introducing: thief in the night ↳ bbc merlin: seasons 1-5

The Kingdom of Camelot was a kingdom that thrived off of the monarchy; off of the rich being rich and the poor being poor. It also thrived off of the outlawing of all things magic and sorcery. 

Little orphan Avani had a problem with both of these things, but she could only ever rebel against one of them. In the dead of the night, Avani would scale the walls of the palace, of the nobleman’s rooms and the King’s trophy rooms, and she would take what she could before the sun rose again in the sky and Avani was due back in the royal gardens for the day.

Avani had spent a nearly a decade alone, stealing her own treasures in the night and eavesdropping on citizens and court members. It wasn’t until Merlin crashed into town that any of it had actually paid off.

Now friends with a sorcerer playing the Prince’s manservant, Avani and Merlin work side by side to secure Prince Arthur’s throne, and keep the stupid prat alive along the way.

INTRODUCING: MIRA LESTRANGE

The Battle of Hogwarts in May of 1998 proved to be both triumphant and a great tragedy. For Mira Lestrange, it marked the day she was finally freed from the clutches of her parents. Ever since she was born, Mira was haunted by the knowledge that she was bred to be a weapon of destruction. If the constant reminder from her guardians, Narcissa and Lucius Malfoy, wasn’t enough then the very fact that she was placed under the cruciatus curse more than once in the first year she was alive definitely was.

When Mira killed her mother that day, she didn’t realize how much her life would change. Maybe it was the fact that the Golden Trio witnessed her being tortured at Malfoy Manor, or that she helped lead the rebellion against the Carrow siblings in her seventh year, but after the battle, everyone looked at her differently. Well, when she let them see her, at least.

One month into their optional eight year, the Golden Trio come across Mira reading in the courtyard, only to be stunned when she apologies for her mere presence and leaves immediately. The most intrigued, however, was one, Harry Potter.

Freshly revived as a second-time wizarding-world saviour, Harry has spent the past five months trying to find his purpose in a world where Voldemort no longer lives. And he finds that maybe, helping this quiet girl find peace might just be his new goal in life.

INTRODUCING: Melanie Stark Falcone

In his last year of schooling at MIT a fresh-faced 17-year-old Tony Stark stumbled hungover into a diner and met 16-year-old high school junior, Melanie Falcone. The rest, they say, is history. Melanie and Tony had hit it off instantly, and five years later had started dating.

GAME OF SURVIVAL

On October 1st, 1989 at 12PM, forty-three women around the world gave birth, despite having not been pregnant at the beginning of the day. Sir Reginald Hargreeves set out to purchase as many of said children as he could, in hopes of using them and training them to help save the world. He acquired eight children. 

Genesis Hargreeves, number eight, cursed with the power of biological manipulation and bone mimicry spent her entire childhood ripping her body apart and weaponizing it at the command of her so-called father. Her anger was her superpower, rage encompassing her entire being when she was fighting a ‘bad-guy’, giving her the ability to rip bones from beneath her skin without the blink of an eye. But when she was not fighting alongside her siblings she spent her life worrying and fussing over them. 

When Genesis turned eighteen years old she left the Umbrella Academy in the dead of night and moved in with her then-boyfriend, Bentley Richards. Thirteen years later and Genesis is the head-chef at her own five-star restaurant, married to her high school sweetheart and attending therapy for anger-management. And life is good. Until it isn’t and Genesis is sent back to the one place on earth she swore she’d never return to.
