dropping this a bit prematurely BUT if I go a bit quiet (ic & ooc) it’s just bc there’s a lot going chdzmsmsmsk I’m giving a presentation on friday & another next week, on top of doing most of the administrative preparation work for a conference we’re hosting in 2 weeks. AND then I’m leaving for a short vacation in the Netherlands, visiting friends & having a transcendental experience seeing Fl.orence & the Ma.chine live again ✌🏼✨

It could be minutes or hours that they stay like that. Neither one speaks, using only the language of Evan’s desperate need to soothe. From what, he has no idea, but he knows that he has to.  Something happened in the months they’ve been apart, that much is obvious. He selfishly wishes Eddie would say it already and put him out of his misery. A thousand different scenarios have been running through his mind, making his skin and scales crawl with anxiety, drawing tighter with every new possibility.  Did someone die? Or get hurt? Maybe Shannon or one of Eddie’s sisters. Poseidon and Zeus, please don’t let it be abuela or Pepa. Eddie would be devastated if anything happened to either of them. Not that he wouldn’t with the others, Evan just knows they’re in an elevated category of family, like saints or angels.

sorry if i'm a bit quiet <3 mostly i'm just at the point where I only want to write when I actually feel it & not let it become another responsibility I stress about (took me long enough to get there), but also juggling rl stuff is just a lot rn, bc on top of an increased work load due to the colleague who I'm sharing the most tasks with doing less hours I'm also going back to uni for a training course SO

I've gor half of it done. It's been a bit slower recently, but I think some people will understand. But not to worry! I will definitely have it done by next month! Pinky promise!
